Todays Games
remember when their reserves got to the dutch cup semi finals when kluivert , van der sar ? , seedorf and them were all kids. [o maybe it was a few years later] pretty weird. although i *know* some eastern euro league had a reserve team win the league in front of the first team at least once. but i forget when where and who. and i'm pretty sure west ham played against (and beat) a team's Bteam in europe (probably in the cup winners cup, but maybe uefa cup) Steau Bucarest (the armys team) cannot play in the top flight anymore but that Commercial team with the now funny fcsb name does. because i think state owned teams are now forbidden from it (like in spain) so be even rarer now, even though its only happened about 3 times before. half remembered facts, i'll have to check.

Todays Games
theyve got some kinda 'no relegation' from the 2nd division rule in at the mo (a la gartside), so if it falls to pieces they probably cant do a Wolves.

yeah, not getting involved at all seems the winning strategy. "womans footballs on" "best turn it off before we get arrested"

2024/25 Kits
if they pick the camo one the newspapers can use- "The White Death" or "SBS - Special Bolton Service" when we win. "Heroes of Television" if we are on sky.

2024/25 Kits
looks like digital camo for artic or alpine missions. dunno if itll make the eyes sken and result in missplaced passes and the like.. but it looks less like a team with a striped or hooped jersey intentionally going after that "at least the numbers are visible" look teams like sheffield wednesday sometimes do (eg, i dont think southamptons current home kit is striped). so i dunno, maybe that one for fashion reasons, but the hooped one for anti-strabismus reasons.

The Managerial Roundabout
i forgot this, but they (afcb) got bought a bit back by the dude that owns the las vegas ice hockey nhl team and iirc they got to the stanley cup in their first season, and they won it last week about 7 years after being formed. think its one of the quickest new team to champions runs in established sport. the arizona diamondbacks baseball team did it faster iirc. dunno what it means for these, but in a way abramovich did it like that too. i think because its soccer itll be harder to do. you can see newcastle NOT doing it (winning the league), like how Fulham didnt.

The Managerial Roundabout
i still cant get over this.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bournemouth_F.C. makes it seem like some kinda fall out or breakaway that never really happened.
-
The Managerial Roundabout
he were probably just "ok" , but he won 10 games.. bournemouth afc remind me a bit of watford with their chopping and changing. eventually they might get stuck were they dont wanna be.

Play Offs
look at italian serie b "if the third placed team is fourteen points infront of 4th place the playoffs are abandoned and the third placed team is automatically promoted"
-
Play Offs
think the italian leagues do it, they probably have two 'rounds' of them anyway, but they forgo at least some of them if points gaps become overly big.
-
Play Offs
in some countries , they modify or abandon the play offs if some team finishes far in front of the rest of chasing pack. for instance notts county wouldve been automatically promoted. or sheff wednesday wouldve got a bye to the final or summat.
