I've noticed in the last couple of weeks Trafford has got even later with releasing the ball... leaving it to the last minute to pass it to a defender. He's been caught out a couple of times lately without it leading to a goal.

It happened last night against Burton, and happened against Oxford on saturday too.

I really hope he doesnt leave it TOO late in one of the remaining games as I worry it's an accident waiting to happen and he's on his last couple of lives.

I think he's probably been watching Ederson too much. Is anyone else worried?

I think it's probably just a result of us having to make quite a few vhanges to what used to be a settled starting line-up and the players in front of him not being quite as well drilled as showing for it

What had me scratching my head last night was the number of times MJ had time and space on the edge of his own area, only to pass it back to Trafford.

Traf (keeper not poster) was really pissed off at end of game for some reason

 Clean sheet lost?

After a good save, perhaps he was disappointed it still went in- nowt wrong there, and as Big Vic said, they were all a bit disappointed.

He should be annoyed about the clean sheet as he made a great save. But he stormed off no hand shakes or clapping of fans

Ah I get you.

Seems a bit off, maybe he'd heard something untoward from fans, which would be disappointing.

Hopefully just frustration.

Noticed that he seemed to run off the pitch as soon as final whistle went

Give over Daz. We do that constantly and even when there is no time or space for Traf. Give mj a break

The 2nd half was a bit of a Trafford love in, so I’d be very surprised if that was the case.

Lots of interaction, waves, laughs over losing MJs head band, songs about wanting him to stay.

Granted, I left as the final whistle went so didn’t see anything after that.

His long kicking is poor but generally his short passing is pretty good.

Ignoring that though, there can’t be many better shot stoppers below the Prem - that one on one save last night was top class. He also seems to have really improved his handling through this season - there’s never any panic when a shot comes in that bounces in front of him, or there’s a low cross from the byline etc., I just assume it’ll be fine.

There’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll play at the top level, whether it’s with City or not I don’t know, but he’ll have a long Prem career in my opinion.

Makes sense. Just pontificating.

I'll stick to reckoning he needed a dump.

I thought he was just time wasting against Ipswich when I first noticed it

though did think it seemed odd he'd being doing that at 0-0 around 15 mins in

His comments about the club and how much him and his family have enjoyed being here is heart warming. What a great lad, I hope he can sign off in style at Wembley.
