  1. Shit happens. Live every day. I will be very interested to see how Schumacher comes out of the "coma". I doubt we will ever see him again. Shame
  2. That will be the reserves. First team friendlies are Friday nights or midweek normally.
  3. I was in that same stand watching us around 3/4 months previous to the fire. A delapidated wood shed, that's all.......
  4. Mavies will have a good pre-season, start the season well and get injured around September time. We will see him again around April, after a couple of come back attempts where he has broken down. Repeat and rinse, same same time after time. If it was my decision I would let him go in the Summer and look for someone else to build the team around.
  5. Thought this would have sold out by now. Doesn't look like it will neither.
  6. He will return. NL will see to that IMO. Eider (esque). NL will unite this beautiful football club. In it together with NL at the helm
  7. Didn't go, saw on stream. They were on top for the majority of the game and deserved to win. I thought that, so did my son and so did Dowie who was reporting for SS.
  8. Looking at Novotel Brentford Not booked yet though
  9. Yep. We'll have a beer or two.
  10. Who gives a fuck. We know were shit and NL has a massive job on his hands to sort out this sack of shite. The end to another joke of a season cant come soon enough. All that said, this 90+ conceding is now getting into ridiculous proportions. He took on a car crash but the loss of form in 2015 is clearly unacceptable.
  11. As everyone seems so confident 7/2 is available for a home win. It seems a tad high to me, considering our home form but I still feel that they will beat us.......
  12. 0-2. On form and simply too good for us.
  13. We were talking about Australia pre-season before Wigan game. Never been, but if we're playing there I'm in +1.
  14. People are talking as though it's Southend on a Tuesday night in January. It's a 3PM kick off, 3 hours away, on a day when the world is on holiday, in a great city. The ones going to Bournemouth on a Monday night, live on Sky deserve far more credit IMO.
  15. It's a new ground for many and the last accessible away game too. That's it as far as I'm concerned.
  16. I'm away with the family. If I wasn't though I would be there. Great city.
  17. If we're 2 down (or worse) with around 10 minutes left I usually go.
  18. My God that was fucking awful. Thankfully our home form is good. 1 point more than we deserved. Sort it out NL
  19. Kiev is a great city. Been 3 times. Oh, and the women are truly beautiful.
  20. I remember when Sunderland were relegated until Dennis Smith @ Manchester City. The mackems were singing his name, after the game during his interview. "I would die for these people" he said. Nothing to do with BWFC and I hope that we don't get relegated but I detect an affinity with NL and BWFC. Win or lose - we do it together.
  21. New ground? Must have been here 3 or 4 times. I see Munich are at Chelsea this day so no alcohol on trains girls and boys.
  22. The away form is a farce, although the home form has been mainly excellent. There is something wrong somewhere. The season has become somewhat disappointing after the promising start made by NL. Injuries have not helped obviously. That said, we would have been happy with being safe at this stage when NL came, such was the points total when he arrived. I still feel that he will improve the team and next year is his year, not this. I am however unsure of his Management style of constantly blaming the players for being "weak" and the like. Some things should be left in the dressing room. Its amazing how quickly you just become an average Championship Club after all the recent highs of Europe. I'm bloody glad I was part of it. I honestly feel we are at the stage where top half next season would be deemed successful.
  23. The game means nothing. Next season is all about NL.
  24. Anything above 2k isn't bad. Nothing to play for, midweek, shit away form, no cheap tickets, Wigan in 10 days etc..... Btw cheltenham is brilliant
