This issue is that at the moment there isnt really a way to reliably "live within our means", the other clubs that have done that only did so by selling players, like preston and burnley. At the moment football is an arms race to try and get to the Premier league, this has totally skewed the lower leagues. Making a sustainable profit or even just breaking even isnt realistic anymore and the only way to get even close to that is to risk getting relegated.

It's not that people aren't behind FV and the club, it's more that by every public record, FV don't really seem to have the funds to run a football club, especally one that has ambitions above league 1 (by their own press release).

Yeh exacly starting to feel like last season with regards to that sort of stuff, players getting Parkied. They come in playing their natural game after 5/10 games they're "rubbish" etc. It's like our club has a bad habbit of making standard Championship and League 1 players worse. Players like both Murphy's, Lowe, Hobbs, Nsiala, Bryan, Crawford, Emmanuel etc are all decent League 1 players. The entire team are playing way below standards and have been doing for months.

I think whats hurting Lowe is the fact that he's playing with 1 or sometimes 2 other defensive midfielders.

I love "Self-starter with good organizational skills and attention to detail" while they're using American English.

Funny thing about parkinson was he was a league 1 level manager in the championship last season. I think we have the same issue now but with a league 2 level manager in league 1.

I did some interviews as part of a team a few years back and he genuinely sounds like someone that doesn't really know what they're talking about. All the movements, pregnant pauses and inflections on certain words are all prime examples of it.

If Hill knew he wasn't going to keep earl, Wright etc, why didn't he have people to go right away? I know it can't be easy in this situation but from our perspective it looks like he started looking this week. You'd think they want to be proactive

A player doesn't work in isolation, you could put amazing passes into the box but if the player you're passing too isn't able to put the ball away, it looks like you've made no contribution. When we get a few more senior players into the team you'll see a skyrocket in performance. I think what's happening atm is, they know the boys up-top don't have the physicality to attack, so they're sitting back and trying to snatch a goal, the issue with this is if you concede first, you then need to attack and this is leaving us exposed.

Buckley, Noone, Buxton and a fair few more, all came into the club with reasonable records in Championship and they all seemed to get worse...they got parkied.

Yeh not sure FV are in a position to make huge payouts like that, I'm assuming the plan is to rebuild us, get us back into the Championship and sell. It's what Anderson wanted to do but was too much of a **** he put potential buyers off. It seems that way based on sources.

Glad it's all over, suspect the business plan is similar to Anderson but with more money and professionalism. Get us upto Championship level and sell, it's smart. Can't wait for the details in the next few days/weeks to come out.
