I'm not convinced he would be the right choice either just thought it was a bit unfair to judge him on last season. I would prefer someone more experienced and would love Ryan Lowe to get the job.

Bit harsh to point to the reserves last season, we let go most of the players who had won the u23 league the year before and Lee had to field mainly under 18's and even younger for most games

I work at a very large Hospital trust in Manchester and from today we now have to wear masks everywhere on the Hospital site which is ridiculous. It would have made sense to introduce this at the start of April when numbers of patients was rising rapidly. Patent number with Covid has reduced over the last few weeks but our Trust did have the highest number of positive patients in the NW by some distance. Like most of the Government guidelines they also seem to be weeks and sometimes months behind when they should have been introduced.

Lowe would be great if he could build a team like he had at Bury but they did overspend on wages which is partly what lead them to go out of business, so would he be able to do it on an almost non existent budget?

I know people are wanting Lee but we are in league 2 and need someone with experience. We go with an inexperienced manager and start badly who knows where we end up?

just looked at the Sky bet odda and it mentioned Michael Beale. Had to google him to be honest. He's first team coach at Rangers and came from Liverpool so Gerrard must know him well. Can't see us paying any compo for anyone so it would be an out of work manager, how about Paul Hurst?

I would sign Chicksen back for next season, thought he was one of our better players before he left and as far as i know he's not signed up anywhere else as yet? I only ever went in the paddock and loved it. My seat at the Reebok (ESL) gave me almost the identical view of the pitch as at Burnden so i've stayed there ever since.
