Ref needs investigating. IE needs to address how leaky we are whilst players are missing & adapt to the players he has availabe. The amount of goals & chances being shipped out the past few weeks is suicidal

Frustrating as fuck, we started brightly & looked dangerous going forward creating a lot of chance's to go in behind. The refs evidently swinging the tie with letting the game run when we get took out but allowing them free kick after free kick no consistency what so ever throughout the course of the half. Saying that, our players have a huge problem in conceding cheap goals out of nothing due to being too busy crying about the decision rather than switching on & defending the quick free kicks. Like our defending last week when Cogley goes down & we allow Charlton a nothing goal to go back in front. Main positive is CMG, he looks dangerous every time he gets on the ball obviously should have scored but so should have JDB.

Bonne & Taylor putting in shithouse tackles/off the ball elbows because they can't do f all on the pitch these days. Two strikers who can't hack the fact that they're absolute shite journeymen & not even small scale L1 teams want them for more than a few months after being somewhat assets a few years ago. Charlton didn’t create nowhere near the chances Wycombe did yet scored 3, dread to think what a decent attacking threat would do to them.

Gotta call a spade a spade with how drab we were in possession but a tricky match with them coming off a 5-2 win & we matched the other two above us on the night so all is well. Cogley/Dempsey the best performers, them two are clearly the best athletes in the team & make good use of the ball more often than not.

If all goes rosey, B.Rovers cash in on him ASAP as he clearly wants a move & they use the funds to bring in a replacement in time who they feel is more suited to the new manager's system. Realistically, a rejection, us looking around for a past it donkey & trying to bring in cover for CB due to needless injuries to key defenders.

Yeah, Mendes didn't do no worse than Morley or Thommo I'd say he did a little more tbh. So much better yesterday, could tell from minute one we meant business & had that extra energy about us. We went from having no midfield in recent games to having all three absolutely boss proceedings, all three were the best players on the pitch by a country mile. JDB & Jerome are no good to bring on when chasing a game but that was an ideal scenario where they do come on & affect the game with getting us up the pitch. Also, finally having a decent bench again it felt like a luxury to have the pace of Mendes, Ogbeta to come on & stretch them even though it waa a small sample size it was great to see they looked very dangerous. Ashworth MOTM, Dempsey close second

Sounds like a similar situation to our Dapo one tbh, both having breakout seasons looking like the bollocks in this league & the following one for whatever reasons have failed to replicate.
