Not a 'must win' be it would be really useful if we did ! That lump from Plymouth who clattered Toal plays for them now I think. 

As you say this is a huge game of football.I would go so far as to say that if Bolton beat Barnsley they will finish in the top two at the end of the season, if they draw or lose they won't.

 

We've got a lot of games to play and particularly a lot of games against the top 8 still away from home.

We have to make the most of our home form and beat our competitors.

We owe a home win against these over the past few seasons.

Yeah, Sam Cosgrove. Played for them on Saturday.

Rico needs to be all over him, like he was with JCH against Peterborough last season.

We owe these a beating

They will try and bully us we need to be on it from the start .

They will press and stop us from playing as much as they can so it will be up to us pick them apart - something we’ve struggled with so hopefully we find the solution and if so it might encourage other teams to stop using that tactic against us so much.

With the tough away games to come, this is a very important fixture in our season and I am desperate for us to win it.

Personally this will be our biggest test since Portsmouth, absolutely love to win but a draw wouldn’t be a problem

Hope we're "at it" early doors.

Put in more convincing home performance and send a message out.

Big game, big crowd and a big test.

Its a must not lose rather than must win imo.

I wanted a minimum 6 points from Orient, Cheltenham and Carlisle - got them.

As long as we take at least 6 from Barnsley, Northampton & Cambridge, i'll be happy though 7 or 9 would be brilliant

they'd sold 900 before going on open sale the other day, unsure of total allocation

It’s a must win for Barnsley, pressure on them, tough game though as the way they set up doesn’t suit us, I’ll take a draw.

Unfortunately what it looks like on the website and what it looks like in reality is never the same thing. So many hidden 'sold' seats around the ground.

I agree.

They're better away, so it will be difficult, but we do have to take points off close rivals.

Plus, apart from the 3-0 away last season, I can't remember "easy" wins against them, so it would be a big confidence boost as we approach a difficult month.

Strange that they've only lost 1 away (at Derby) but lost 5 at home, and failed to beat the likes of Fleetwood, Exeter at home. 

And our home form is similar to away so it sort of takes away any home "advantage" for our 2 games v Barnsley, the points are up for grabs equally for both wherever we play.

We've got lots of tough away matches against the top 8 to come.

However, interestingly, we've not got a bad record at all this season against the teams around us.

In our matches against the top 8, we've won 3, drawn 2 and lost just once, away at Pompey. 11 points from 6.

Let's keep taking points away from the teams around us and continue to smash the rest of the league. We're on track and have the best PPG in the league, we can do this!
