  1. I also think the blip might cost us, which is why we have to get to the final of the FA Cup (and possibly win it) If/when we play Arsenal in the next round, at least Campbell will still be out - which is a good thing. (Reyes and Bergkamp will probably be suspended as well)

  3. I've just been having a bit of a ponder about us getting into Europe next season. A week or so ago, people were talking about 7th place possibly making it into Europe - from my workings it would seem that this would now only be possible if Man United play Arsenal in the final. The last thing we want is Blackburn sneaking into Europe by making the final! So we now either need to finish 4th, 5th or 6th or indeed make it to the final against Man Utd (or win the final against anybody) to progress to Europe. Do you think we will make it?
  4. it would indeed be a splendid thing! as would a potential semi-final clash against either Blackburn or Burnley :-F ;vv

  8. He's still scoring goals for fun in Scotland as well (for Aidrie I think) - not bad considering he's 63 now
  9. Leicester City, Forest x 3 Bolton, Middlesbrough, Palace, Norwich, Ipswich, Sunderland, Citeh x 2 Wolves, Leeds, Charlton, Blackburn, Swindon, Oldham, Sheff United, West Brom, West Ham, Bradford, Wimbledon, Sheff Wed, Barnsley, QPR, Coventry, Derby x 1
  10. Yes, when negotiating with the prostitutes on Las Ramblas, be sure to find out whether they've got b??llocks before you agree to go with them! It took me ages to find one with b0ll0cks, but I got one in the end
  11. have just been told by somebody who reckons to be ITK Intersky Falcon for the Champion Hurdle (March 15th) - you can still get 33/1 so maybe worth a few squids each way.

  19. nice to see that he actually took the time to reply, the one line that I don't like though is: "Finally, the Club does retain accurate season ticket holder history and can introduce an additional layer of priority, should this prove neccessary" I don't think it should make any difference how long you have had a season ticket. All season ticket holders should be treated the same. I know that some people will say that they have had a season ticket from when we played at Burnden (as I did), but does that mean this person should have more right to go and watch a final than say a 10 year old kid who has had a season ticket with his dad for just 5 years?

really though, who cares? Scottish football is for people who don't like football. Rangers Vs Celtic.......................no worse than Turton Vs Canon Slade
  21. Meat Pie :D/ animal flesh covered savoury product :D/ (how many variations can we get?)
  22. please tell me he isn't really called "Shitstabber Beckham"
  23. I've got ??10 at 3/1 for Newcastle to win,.........so come on you Mags! plus I would rather play NUFC than CFC next round - if it came to it, as we would have more chance of winning
  24. The easiest way of doing it would be: 1) All Season ticket holders get 1 ticket each (we have around 20K season ticket holders, and would get an allocation of around 20K tickets) 2) Any unsold tickets are then left in the centre circle at the end of the last home league match, and then any fans without tickets have to rush "British Bulldog" style and claim a ticket, on Big Sams whistle (you can only collect one ticket, and also if you "false start" before Sams whistle, you are disqualified from the event) - In order to make things interesting, all those competing should be blindfold and naked* *of course all of those of us with season tickets can watch the "entertainment" from our seats - also could we sell this as a pay-per-view project?
