  1. I know we were told not too long ago that their nuclear program had been totally obliterated, and they'd been set back decades. Unless that wasn't true of course...
  2. Absolutely, I don't know why the clamour for us to be involved
  3. They were told not to go there, they did. And you want our soldiers to risk their lives to rescue them. Tough shit.
  4. He wanted those two dicks who are in prison over there rescued by the SAS the other week. Bonkers.
  5. They're going to go down swinging
  6. He was talking about taking over Cuba yesterday. He's certainly keeping busy.

To a point, I think you're correct, as the majority of the voting public are absolutely as thick as fuck, so who knows, they may well vote them in. A lot may be to do with the lack of opposition, as opposed to them being the right choice though. Hopefully, the Conservatives can get their act together over the next couple of years
  8. What is the actual end game here, I assume it's to totally wipe out any/all the current leadership, and then install some sort of puppet Government is it?? Trump himself said yesterday he expects to take up to 4 weeks to fulfill all their objectives. Some other military dude on the radio then said it could be a couple of years, so fuck knows how long this will all take. I'd expect in the coming days for a few terrorist cells in the US and Europe to be sparking themselves into life as well, sadly.

I'm not sure, I think had the GE been last year, they'd have got close, they may well have peaked. It's possible that the worst thing that can happen for Reform, is that they do really well in these May 7th elections, as they'll then have a couple of years to really show themselves up. They're an utter shitshow.
  10. You'd hope not....
  11. I suspect they'll be happier if/when they take Taiwan. I wonder if they'd consider now, whilst the US is somewhat distracted

The "odd" comment isn't about voters changing their mind, they're a fickle bunch, it's about a political figure (a major one allegedly) deciding to move across from Labour to Reform, as their idealogies are very different. So either they're "self preserving" or, they've had a dramatic change in what they believe (of course, it could be both) - although this major Labour figure hasn't joined Reform yet, and I guess may not even exist.....

Self preservation is a great incentive, so it'd not be a huge surprise There's also a "big" Labour name about to defect to Reform, apparently, according to Farage, now that I find an odd switch

I saw the "final flight" if the Vulcan, it flew straight over my house, and did several laps of the village (it was doing Shuttleworth Airshow) - the noise was just immense. A real shame it'll never fly again

...and ill fitting suits, coupled with the odd latin phrase.

I agree, the main 2 parties are a disaster at the minute, the fact that the Greens won last night and some Welshists won in Caerphilly (another seat held by Labour for about 100 years) shows that people are looking for a political home. These upcoming May 7th elections will be interesting, I think Reform will do quite well.....but I think they'll more likely tail off as we get closer to a GE. They're OK as a bit of a protest vote, but surely nobody wants that set of grifting cunts running the country

@bolty58 would have you believe this as well.....
  20. good point, let them kill every single Palestinian kid they see, that'll teach them

That's where I sit, those days are gone for a little while, they'll soon come back when the likes of Reform and The Greens royally fuck everything up, which they will Politically, we are at a fairly low ebb in the UK at the minute. As things stand though, I'm more confident than ever that Reform won't win a clear majority next time around, that's not to say they won't be in power. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to try and run with a minority Government, so that they can say, when they're voted down, that it's the establishment stopping them. Coming down the road, equal and opposite reaction, get what you deserve, blah, blah.

I'm not sure I ever saw the Greens getting in. They'll be taking plenty of seats at the next GE I suspect, which presumably will be from traditional Labour vote. For some reason, and not for the better (IMO), politics, for the next few years is just going to become more and more extreme, with those holding the centre ground being fucked over
  23. We can only hope, that if Tommy is on an IBIS hitlist, that they manage to get both him and his scrotey son at the same time
  24. I'd wandered off in a different direction... 😉
  25. It's not.......
