  1. Didnt go to Villa but got to Tranmere and Halifax after the game had been postponed. Travelling up from London for the League Cup semi against Swindon was the most annoying postponement.

He is a great character like Jimmy Greaves. Lineker,Shearer,Owen etc are dull. On the bright side if he does pass on,he will leave a few dirty young blondes for the rest of us.
  3. You will probably have it confiscated if you display it at the Riverside. But make sure it is on display when Boro are at ours at Christmas.
  4. Conspiracy theory. Bolton were desperate for a win at St Andrews last season and Sams old mate Brucey obliged. Roles reversed tomorrow.Jussi is sent off for handling the ball outside the box under no pressure and the Brummies stroll to a comfortable 2-0.
  5. i saw one of the Northern Rhodesia v Bolton programmes on sale for ??70 about a year ago. one of the most difficult recent ones to get hold of is the match at Fleetwood when it kicked off in the 80s.
  6. The council to give planning permission for a peep show with solo cabins on Bradshawgate. and a 2005/06 Sky Sports Football Yearbook.
  7. Let us hope the board are given an offer they cant refuse to sell the ground to property developers. And we move back into town like nearly every other club.

17 "The good news is that you did all right on the quiz the bad news is that you're pretty disgusting"
  9. Fine set. They'd get a 9 on ratemyboobsdotcom
  10. I wanted a later kick off really. Still got over a day to get there from Sofia though.
  11. Asking for an sae on top of the ??1.50 fee is taking the mick.
  12. I applied for two by post last Tuesday for season ticket holders with no vouchers. and posted two more last night for season ticket holders with no vouchers
  13. My heroes are the Bolton fans who on February 3 1990 found out on the motorway at Milton Keynes that our game at Orient had been postponed. But still they carried on to Brisbane Rd for their match day programme. Due to an objectionable female who thought it unreasonable to carry on down the motorway for a programme i did not get an issue. At the re- arranged fixture a new programme was issued and to this day i have never obtained a copy of the first one.
  14. My interest in women was first stirred by an erotic image in a football programme. The 84/85Stoke City programme had a picture of a leggy blond in black fishnet-tights and a white Stoke top posing provocatively against a Ricoh photocopier on the back page next to the team line ups. This photo stayed on all the seasons issues. Despite having a miserable season Stoke programme sales were remarkably high...and it wasnt due to Barry Siddall's regular column. Football programmes or women ? The agony of choice.
  15. I've been contacting the big boys in the programme world the last few days about this important topic. Nobody seems to be certain whether there will or wont be a programme printed in Bulgaria. The likes of CSKA and Levski generally print them for the big matches only.It is thought Plovdiv will but none of the dealers i asked had seen one of their programmes Yet more uncertainty about this cursed trip.

Putting tickets on sale as late as Sep 12 does not help matters. People know that they will have needed to have sorted out their travel arrangements by then. The best way to get empty seats in the home section in Burgas is for us to put 4 or 5 past them in the home leg.
  17. A cynical view would be that the club will ask for more tickets if they havent sold out their travel package. Ipswich took about 7,000 to Inter Milan and it would be nice to think our club would want as many fans as possible supporting them.
  18. Is it going to be safe for Bolton fans in the home end....ie for those who want no aggro. Or will it be necessary to blag into the VIP section? and will there be a match programme?
  19. 910 will surely all go to those with away vouchers or prepared to go on the club trip. That would not include me i am 99.9 % confident of being in the ground though
  20. austrian airlines still have return flights from heathrow to sofia going tuesday, coming back saturday for ??163.
  21. there are going to be a lot on the bus from sofia to burgas on thursday morning. i hope there is more than one
  22. george replied to a post in a topic in Europe 2005-06
the local bar owners will be pleased with a 9pm kick off.
  23. will it be a night match on the thursday in burgas?
  24. Trains were too complicated. I looked at coaches though....it is ??212 return from London Victoria to Sofia.
  25. I'm due to get in Sofia at 4 on the Wednesday and will get home around breakfast time on Sunday morning. so there is a chance i will see 0,1 or 2 of the Plovdiv and Wigan games at the present time. You've got to laugh.
