  • Non entity of a club, no fans & subsequently no atmosphere. Shit town centre. Difficult train journey. Ground is a long way from town & train station. Apart from the above

None is so blind as he who will not see.

Tell that to Stevie Wonder or Lennie Peters.

Been at the club 10+ years and probably taken them as far as they can go. Has strong links with QPR and Wycombe have agreed compensation with them. Upto Ainsworth and whether he'd leave after so long in charge

Seems a great opportunity for him, close to home so no upheaval, chance to manage at a higher level with a bigger budget and if it all goes tits up I’m sure he could always go back to Wycombe. I don’t think anyone at Wycombe would deny him the opportunity to better himself after what he’s done for them?

That's what them Geordie cnuts said about Fat Sam :)

So Ainsworths gone then and taken his assistant too. What effect if any will that have on the tea, I wonder? The club was very much built around Ainsworths style so it’s going to be a huge act for his replacement, even though he knows the set up, to follow. Must be good for us I think over the next few months if it ain’t working?

Ainsworth has got the QPR job so I’m told from a source.

good appointment and that
