Just finished reading (well listening to) "If Anyone builds It, Everyone Dies" which documents the advances in AI and hypothesises on the effect of Super-AI... we might only have ten years left!

Quite disturbing, the authors are comparing the race towards Artificial Super Intelligence with the post war nuclear arms race and should be subject to international treaties.
