20th Jan, trains now on sale. Must be some work somewhere down the route as everything from both Manchester and Wigan are taking 3 hours rather than the usual 2 hours.

£48.80 return with a Railcard which isn’t bad going at all I reckon

Latics got 1,200 the other week. Don’t think they’ll sell out immediately but can’t see them going on general sale

Seem to be diversions around Birmingham when they’ve been doing this. Will be slower than they advertise as an fyi

Given ourselves plenty of time at each end so shouldn’t be a problem hopefully
