Leyton Orient (A)

20th Jan, trains now on sale. Must be some work somewhere down the route as everything from both Manchester and Wigan are taking 3 hours rather than the usual 2 hours.

£48.80 return with a Railcard which isn’t bad going at all I reckon

If it’s on good luck with Carlisle

Whilst Carlisle do have the option to extend away allocations to away teams with the terrace behind the net. they haven’t done it yet this year. Derby asked for it and got refused. Had it open for home fans and there were next to non in. Whilst they should I would be surprised if they offer it us so c.1500 to go at

My problem for Luton was using NatWest and had the same issue on the Hibs ticket site last week so likely to be a Ticketmaster-wide issue. Paid on Halifax today and no issue at all.

Think it might be the link to the banking app. Got through eventually and bought some.

Anyway......where to drink in that London before hand.

I do love quandaries like this. Apparently the same route you'd do new West Ham, saying that I’ve not been there. Hotel is in shoreditch and 30 mins away

Overground to Leytonstone High Road looks the best bet

Edited by Leyther_Matt

Leyton are a funny old club. They’re my local team nowadays and tickets have always been expensive, even when they were playing in the National League.

Nearest tube station is Leyton on central line. But you can also walk or get bus from Stratford or Leytonstone

Best pubs near the ground are Northcote Arms or Coach & Horses. Star is okay too.

Been to them all on match days though apparently they’ve been getting stricter with away fans recently. Leytonstone also has some decent pubs too

Victoria line from Euston to Blackhorse Road then Overground from there to Leytonstone High Road. 35 mins walk to ground from there but presents a better pub route than going straight to Leyton.
