It’s that “For You” tab on Twitter. I want to hate it but it actually brings up stuff I don’t mind seeing.

You need to change your twitter app settings so you don't get notifications. And as Spider says, use the 'Following' tab rather than the 'For You' tab.

Can't say i pay much attention to pre game/halftime/fulltime punditry waffle it's normally background noize while i do something else.

And if i could have a "no commentary" option for every game I'd be all over it.
