It is going to be difficult to get a unifying figure, and hopefully one or two that the people can settle on, even as an interim leader.

I didn't realise just how many different ethnic groups make up the country, and they all need someone to coalesce behind.

I've no time for Trump at all, but try to look at things that are going on over there objectively.

In this instance though, Trump isn't the issue per se.

Iran is, and whether folk agree with the war or not, it is where we are, and our top brass have completely failed in their duty to protect our nation and its interests.

Cyprus, Bahrain, UAE etc have all been very critical, and understandably so.

For what it's worth, terror attacks "in the name of Islam" won't be stopped, ever. As a result of this, I'd not be surprised to see a fairly immediate spike in attacks. The leadership of Iran does/did need to be removed that's clear to see.....who steps into that void, and if they'll be any worse, remains to be seen

Stop them coming here, root out home grown wankers and use our military to defend us, not attack caves in the Persian mountains.

I agree to a point, sadly it's not that simple.

This time round, as it seems it was Israel that wanted to attack Iran (and fair enough, I can see why they might want to) then they should just have been left to it, why the US joined in fuck knows (well we do know why...) - I can see why leaders of most European countries seem to be holding back. Israel and the US seem to have things under control, Trump already said recently that the US doesn't need NATO, so fuck them. They're doing a good enough job themselves, they should just crack on

Sadly, we'll now see another massive influx of refugees / asylum seekers from the region wandering across Europe, which won't end well.

I heard on the radio today that this war is costing the US $1B per day, at some point, I'd expect the US public to start questioning why they're involved at some point, especially as the US was under absolutely zero threat (especially as the Nuclear threat had apparently been set back decades only a few months ago)
