This week

Is it just me or does the 4 days after Easter always seem to last longer than a normal week ?

I have thought it was Friday since Weds and got up sorting my day out earlier so can watch the match and the Grand National

  • Nah. I know what you mean, but I'm more than happy to have an NHS that doesn't discriminate or select who they treat. Imagine one of our kids going on a daft one in a few years and taking an accidenta

  • Aye you're probably right. Kind of confirms what fucking amazing people the staff are. No judging and everybody treated the same. I've just no idea how they cope, especially in the war zones of A

Yeah I've been all over the place this week. Thought Tuesday was Monday all day.

Today feels like Saturday.

good news, it's Friday, so you've not missed "Underwear FFriday" at W3

Because we played at home at 3pm on Monday, Tuesday seemed like a Sunday, which is probably why the wife found my suggestion of going out on the piss around Lancaster a strange one.

Yeah, but on my own.

I’ve fuck all else to do right now.

I had lasers blasted into my eyes Thursday, wore shades until Saturday, blitzed 6 hours on a laptop WFH Tuesday, been off with headaches and blurred vision since. Been resting my eyes as much as possible; not a clue what time it is let alone day

It’s 5.15pm on 2nd May and we’ve just beaten Luton 7-0 to snatch the last automatic promotion place.

I've finished the week with both my Dad and Brother in hospital 🤦‍♂️

Our kid has had another infection in his leg, quite a common occurrence, hence the big decision, but this one was mega. Two days in bed off his bonce on Oxycodon and Morphine with mega strong antibiotics served no purpose.

Ambulance job straight to a ward and on drips and stuff to isolate the infection and stop sepsis. And more importantly they really aren't ready got amputation yet. It's vital they go below the knee. He's having it drained and shit today.

My old man had get up to hospital sharpish after the day befores blood tests and leg wraps due to ongoing lymphodema flagged his kidneys were working at 20%.

He's already got a cancer/lesion on there buy luckily they say it's not even that causing the issue!

Total dehydration due lymphodema/leg swelling and sores. Plus about 300 tablets a day and the silly fucker barely drinks any water.

So last night I sat for four hours in SDEC unit while we waited for a bed. He was still waiting at 1am and not heard this morning.

Oooh the drama.

I thought you were ‘speechless’ or do you have a namesake.😉

After 4 months in Oz. I’m all over the place. Hopefully the day at OT yesterday and the lunchtime ko today in the pub will bring me back to normality.

Have you ever known me to be speechless? I just didn’t want the missus to know 😂

Shit, isn't it?

Our eldest is in hospital in Canberra, three hours away from her home.
Quite ill and severe pregnancy complications at 26 weeks, so the wife flew out on Thursday to be with her.

And I was getting upset because my missus has eaten all the decent granola this morning.

Hope things improve gents

Aye mate hope she's okay and can keep the baby in as long as possible.

Shit week for you Gonzo - hope things settle down for your brother. I assume they have to wait a while for the leg to heal before putting a prosthetic one in?

Blimey!! Hope things improve for both of you and your families

You need your cataracts sorting 😂

I had cataract surgery in January... the surgeon bloke tells me I am a "one in a hundred" because I've had a reaction and now have a pimple on my retina... fkin' typical, nothing is ever straightforward, only just getting back to seeing screens and have had to put up with Mrs Dim's driving!

Hope your Glaucoma settles down
