Saw this on Twitter.  Thought it was interesting to see the extent of player turnover since August 24.  From memory Thomason, Baxter and Santos went up a level, but only Tommo has made a go of it.

Guess Dempsey and Johnston will be gone regardless of what division we are in.  Tutu is the only other one out of contract.  Christie has an option for another year.  They can both go for me.

 

 

 

 

I’d be keeping Tutu. He’s a good player and I don’t think he’s particularly expensive. We’ve done a good job of keeping him fit for most of this season so he’s had an impact. Can also play 2-3 roles 

Dempsey. Another one I like but I don’t see any sense in keeping him.

It really was/is a massive turnover.

Can’t be accused of standing still.

The only area that’s not had an overhaul is the defence and we all know that is coming.

But no point slagging the defenders off that we still have, who’ve got a really important job to do in these next 3 games. They’ve never been short on passion or desire and if they perform to their best with no individual errors they can go into next season, with or without us, with a well deserved L1 promotion on their CV.

Let’s not let this, before our destiny is determined, turn into a “need to get rid of Johnston, Toal because they are shit” thread.

SS got rid of those that did not have the mentality last Summer at least those out of contract or could move on.......Thomason aside just too good money to refuse

GJ, Dempsey and Tutu are all out of contract and i wish them all well if they are moved on......Limited footballers but you would never accuse them of not putting a shift in.

Do not see a way back for Randal or Schon and i can see a couple others moving on if we can offload

Schon wouldn't want to come back he's on course to win the Hungarian top flight. Hopefully we can get a few quid for him.

Tutu is the only one I would keep on account of his versatility.

Given we've signed 20+ players this year we aren't afraid to change things. 

I'd not be exercising the option on Christie in L1, never mind the Championship.
Tutu would be a useful L1 backup, but not if we go up.

Noticed today we have the option to purchase I cissoko (spelling)

Randall's back for another year with Schon, but Schon is up against cissoko and Gale or Conway as a wing back.. 

Randall's up against Kenny (hopefully) or RR.. sending where he's playing. Hrs got not chance of displacing either them, Sheehan, Erhahon or Simons.

Need 2 first choice fullbacks and 2 proper centrebacks in the summer.

My list to get rid is a lot bigger than keep

Lolos been transfer listed by Posh (as has Chris Conn Clarke which a number on here wanted us to sign when at Alty).

We don’t play with Wing Backs. Tutu has worked hard this year, but isn’t good enough as a full back or winger.

Mine is currently 7 contracted players and 2 loans if we are promoted 7 contracted players and three loan players if we stay in lge1.......The rest can go

 

Carlos Mendes Gomes still our player, but out of contract and presumably won't get a new one.

 Was at Exeter on loan.

Confidence is key to a keeper.. and he had feck all when he played for us. Might have come back, but he wasn't at his best in a Bolton Jersey

Aimson released for Wigan , they have released quite a few players .

See it's crazy how we all see the game differently. I think he's the most consistent keeper we've had for years (barring Traf obviously - but that's an unfair comparison). I'd have him back in a heartbeat. 

Having said that - it should be noted that I know fuck all about football and am frequently wrong about pretty much everything football related 😁
