A £700k fee for Nombe I hear and the delay just down to personal terms. At least Rotherham can get some players in now they’re down to the bare bones and we can stop talking about him. Genuinely nice guy though Sam and I wish him well.

Bit naive to think he was going to be City number 1 at that stage, just not realistic.

Having sold him once, then bought him back, maybe he felt he was in with a decent chance of being regular.

Good business for city obviously, but it could backfire if prospective signings look at that, and decide they don't fancy being in a similar situation.

He's wasted 2 seasons through bad transfer decisions. Went to the PL too early and struggled at Burnley initially, then warmed the bench back at City.

Not necessarily his fault but he should be a top 10 starter by now.

he's not

Burnley wasn't a bad move at all for him

it got him playing regular and got bigger clubs wanting to sign him

Newcastle with CL football were in for him last season too but he opted for city who let him down

he did start as their number one until they signed Donnarumma on deadline day

but he played cup games and won a league and fa cup

so hardly a waste, and now he gets to go and be a proper number one

Lad was proper greedy at times. the amount of times he was going for personal glory rather than teeing one of his team mates up who were in a better position was ridiculous.
