  • Can't agree there pal. I know a few Wolves lads. Anyone over the age of 40 have us up there with West Brom as most hated team. We inflicted a lot of damage to them. From them getting twatted all over

  • no I think you like it, which is why you keep going on about it, at length, and musing over how people may or may react no one else is going to get you banned so no need to keep going on like you do

They’ll be licking their lips at the thought of playing us…. They don’t like us to this day… bloody lovely, bring it on!

Meanwhile we've got Dong on one side and Gale on the other.

We could actually be down by February.

Bloody hell lad. I think TT, Talk Sport and the World Cup has got you scrambled!

Chill out mate, take a few weeks off and come back refreshed in August

…I’m sure @gonzo will take the above in the pissed up spirt that it was written in 😂😉👍

Looks like we’re losing Tolaj to Brizzle City for 4.5M plus add ons.

Shame but can’t really argue with that money. Hopefully we can keep hold of Pepple.

There's little argument that Burnley & Wet Spam will have so much cash they can get their way back in. Wolves too will be strong. So clubs trying to buy their success ... Bristol City & Stoke come to mind ... have a very narrow window to achieve it.

Should they fail they could find life very tough in future seasons.

I see Chelsea are breaking the bank for Rogers on another long term deal. Never known a club sign so many players as they’ve done over the last 2-3 years. Their fans mustn’t have a clue who half their squad is at any moment in time. Bonkers.

Middlesbrough will get a nice sell on fee from this too.

Around £20mil.

They should be able to afford to give Forss a new contract now.

Great signing that, wish we could have afforded him here or even maybe his Plymouth partner Bim Pepple.

Can you describe him ?

His playing style ?

Height, build ... anything about him at all ? Would you know him if he walked up & knocked on your door ?

Usually I'd be surprised at people knowing lower league players but he already had people on this forum mentioning him a year ago after his L2 promotion season with Port Vale when he scored quite a few.

And then last season he was clearly one of the best strikers in L1 with Plymouth, regularly scoring on the highlights show. Even I had noticed him and I tend to know nothing about other teams' players.

He looked quite big, brown hair in a pony tail and a little moustache, if you need to recognise him at your door.

If anyone of that description turns up at your door, then its a quick cricket bat to the bolox and a call to the cops. 100% nonce

Tolaj looks half decent in L1, like Kenny and Dalby, no better than them for me although obviously more of a natural scorer than Dalby.

Whether any of the 3 can step upto the championship is another matter, I can't say I'd be buzzing for Tolaj especially at that inflated price. If he wasn't Plymouth's pen taker he'd have 14 goals last season, less than the likes of Wareham (in a relegated team) and Wooton (who doesn't take pens) and 1 less than Pepple.

On the subject of pens, Luton got 12 last season! Plymouth 8 and Stockport 7 the next most. We got 2, both were 2nd half winners.

When Nakki Wells had his pen saved by Bonham it was his 3rd miss of the season.

he had a good season last year and not bad at Vale the year before although in League 2. Lot of money for him based on his overall record, at a level he has not played at before.

So only 13 from open play in L1, also missed a pen that someone else might have scored! Rather Bristol than us spending that much thank you.

McGoldrick scored 2 more and creates them too. Marriott 3 more from 9 less games.

I'm sure Tolaj is good, but so are a few other L1 strikers too and they aren't costing millions.

If you're only looking at goals, Kevin Davies wasn't very good. Tolaj is a physical presence a good foil for the equally impressive Pepple. You can send the ball up and he'll fight for it and bring wingers into play. He's a good player.

I'd be calling the scuffers if that arrived at the door.

Fair enough, I probably underrated that part of his game, I think I had him down as an out and out scorer like Charles for eg. We've had a couple here that do more than that - Collins and Kenny with their pace and skill, Dalby with his outstanding physicality. McGoldrick the best I've seen in L1 for linking play while also being top scorer. It will be interesting to see how Tolaj gets on at Bristol.
