What we having as the best commentators and pre/half/post team so far this WC?

For me it is tonight's lot in NY but fuck boring off for the little scotch fella.

I like Chappers on the BBC

Best studio team are on ITV. Both Pougatch and Woods are great, especially when it’s with Keane, Neville and Wright. Their best comms pairing is Champion and Mcoist.

BBC studio is a bit pants. I do like Mowbray and Shearer.

Combined ITV are ahead for me.

Matterface and Dixon

Matterface has just done a touching monologue about ice cream

Matterface & Dixon are quite good on the football but their "banter" is painful.

Danny Murphy is the best summariser.

Gary Neville is a cunt.

Not comms, but Wayne Rooney's analysis is fucking excellent.

For play by play I really like Liam McLeod from BBC. Vets like Mowbray, Champion etc. are also great on comms.

For colour I like Murphy, McFadden, Warnock. Shearer is ok when he's not covering England, McCoist I like but I can see why people don't. Dixon is a dour bellend.

Pundits: Wright, Rooney and Hart are streets ahead of the others.

After years of enduring his lack of punditry on MOTD, Shearer is surprisingly good on co-comms.

McCoist is elite level on co-comms and the ITV studio and pundits head and shoulders above BBC.

ITV studio team has nailed it, big 3 are quality but others like Ange, Duncan Ferguson also good.

For the BBC Rooney is growing into it and getting better at expressing what is real insight

Comms-wise, none of the pairings really stand out for me. Like Shearer as a co-comms, Champion and McCoist work well together, Bower and Murphy steady enough.

Matterface is insufferable and Dixon grumbles along like a bloke who's been given a big list of jobs by his Mrs.

He's been great in my view

Watched the Spain Portugal game on foreign, with Martyn Tyler & Andy Townsend on comms.

So much better than anything that ITV or BBC have provided.

Pougatch is a fucking bell end and looks like he gets dressed in a charity shop or lost property

I like McCoist as a fella and he's OK as a co- commentator but he's got a very limited vocabulary. But I still prefer him over the other ITV ones as he's much more invested in the game Infront of him.

That's my thing with him, he just says everything is "Bruuuyannt" even the most basic pass.

Gabriel Clark made an utter cunt of himself after the game.

Interviewing Tuchel, he gets well & truly shot down by TT for questioning the players' mentality (ridiculous after the last 2 games !! ), so then still sulking , he goes to Bellingham & tries to create division between the manager & players.

Hopefully the FA will keep that cunt well away from the manager & players now.

Slightly off topic , the TV video photography does some good stuff re' player close ups reactions and the ref cam is pretty cool .

What is awful is the number of times they show celebs in the corporate seats . It is truly cringe worthy and many of us have no interest in seeing someone sipping cava , champagne in their named seat . Also I'm convinced they have "plants" in the crowd i.e. they show a supporter in ott gear ott reactions to incidents , just paid actors or minor you tube celebrities , the producers take us for idiots , desperate to push their agenda .

The worst bit is still to come , 30 minutes half time in the final for a concert, theb Trump turning up with his pal Infantino to present the trophy to the winners . I'd love it if we win and the players somehow ignore the orange one . I think I had a rant . I cannot imagine TT accepting Trump .
