I'm not actually sure he'll play, if he does, maybe only 45 minutes. I'd expect, from both sides, to see players who've got very few minutes this WC to play. Its the game none of the players want or need

But the potential to finish higher than any other England team bar Sir Alf's. If they do, TT for a honorary knighthood for me. If tosspots like Southgate and that scurrilous little cunt Khan can have one............................

Mbappe also said they want to win it for Deschamps as it's his last game. I agree that the 3rd place game shouldn't exist but so long as it does I'd expect both sides to put some effort in. Especially England given the manner of their loss in the semis.

I'm not sure France's efforts were any better in their semi.

Maybe worse as they didn't really lay too much on Spain.

We did on the island thieves, but decided to let go afterwards.

The whole charade is bizarre and deserves to be ignored win lose or draw. If we lose I won't be including it in any assessment of his tenure and the same if we lose heavily, because the players should be at home with their families by now.

The reality is it’s a lose lose situation.

They win it means nothing. Players who helped get the win will be questioned (obviously not by you! 😂) as to why they didn’t play more.

Any loss and the criticism (again not from you) will all start again/carry on.

We’re in for a good night aren’t we - how’s the darts going on…

Actually well into this match now - off to France next week so again, I'd like to wear the shirt with a bit more pride.
