Reply from Mr Moores re my email in previous thread

Dear Simon

Thankyou for your email.

The Club has made it clear that should the Club reach a major Cup Final, it will adopt a one ticket per person policy, throughout the priority sales period. Whilst it is indeed the case that the Club is likely to receive a smaller allocation for the FA Cup Final than the Carling Cup Final, this allocation is not as small as you suggest and should be more than sufficient to ensure that all Season ticket holders who require a ticket are able to purchase one, provided they do so during the priority sales period.

The Club has also made it clear that all season ticket applications will be date stamped upon receipt and processed in the strict order in which they are received.

Finally, the Club does retain accurate season ticket holder history and can introduce an additional layer of priority, should this prove neccessary, in the unlikely event that the Club receives insufficient tickets to satisfy all season ticket holders. The presentation of ticket stubs from earlier rounds also presents the Club with the opportunity to create a further layer of priority should it choose to do so, and it is for this reason that the Club has advised supporters to retain all ticket stubs from earlier rounds.

Full details of the ticket application policy will be widely publicised, should the Club progress to the Semi-final or Final of the FA Cup.

With kind regards

Because he gets you tickets :-#

Do I get priority cause I went to Oldham over someone who went to the Fulham match?

I watched the Oldham match on TV in Spain so I'd better get both Semi and Final tickets :D

Can you prove this?

If so, you're welcome to tickets to a Final we probably won't reach!

nice to see that he actually took the time to reply, the one line that I don't like though is:

"Finally, the Club does retain accurate season ticket holder history and can introduce an additional layer of priority, should this prove neccessary"

I don't think it should make any difference how long you have had a season ticket. All season ticket holders should be treated the same. I know that some people will say that they have had a season ticket from when we played at Burnden (as I did), but does that mean this person should have more right to go and watch a final than say a 10 year old kid who has had a season ticket with his dad for just 5 years?

In Gareth's defence, he does tidy up his own messes, which he doesn't HAVE to do. He does make calls, answer emails etc. Can you imagine someone at a bigger club doing the same?

If they introduce this extra 'layer' then yes you should and the same goes for those who went to Ipswich.

Hello sailors :-"
There's no need for that, boss O:)

so if u went to every away match but not 1 home match they get priority to them who go every home match but no away matches

It's a sliding scale of loyalty similar to that used at other clubs. City employ a points system based on attendance home and away.

To put it simply, If you were an ST holder and you had attended all the rounds of the cup this season then yes you have should have more priority over one who has only attended only one game and so on.

It just happens that this year we have played 3 games and two have been away. If they had all been at home and you had attended the lot then yes you should have greater priority for a final ticket.

What the club should of done especially after last year is come right out at the start of the season and document what the criteria would be for distribution of tickets in the event of reaching a final. That way everyone knows the score including the club itself and stops the potential for bad blood being created again!
