Just had a word with Happy Wanderer about us getting a wreath done for Dave Higson's funeral on Wednesday. Need to get a proper quote, but my missus guesses "Ding Dong Do" would cost around the ??300 mark.

Now then, that's a lot of dosh to raise. If 60 people on hear could donate a ??5 each, we'd get that.

 

Or do you reckon the money could be better spent?

Then surely it's up to someone (his daughters maybe) to co-ordinate the writing on the bricks. BWSA, BWDSA, BWFC, WWays etc could possibly all donate a brick. each could have a different eulogy on it.

=; Just to let you know the Club laid a brick for Dave when the Walkway first went down, however they do a memorial brick as the first one was just the regular brick. I think it reads Dave 'Ding dong do' Higson. They do a memorial book as well. If you're looking at a wreath try Lesleys Flowers in Horwich mention what it's for and she may do you a good price and she is married to an ex bolton player.
