My family all come from Horwich. My Grandfather went to the 1923 Cup Final. It just came natural that I would support Bolton.

Were you there when the Aldershot Team Coach got bricked on Burnden Car Park?

I wer almost a Liverpool fan, due to my brother. Had the posters, kits etc.

But then I went to my first Bolton match and I was hooked. Wish I could've been taken to Burnden earlier.

Born in Bolton but I lived in Little Hulton until I was 21. Everyone at my junior school supported United but I wanted to be different. I have never regretted it! :D/

Although there was that tuesday night at Carlisle when we got stuffed 5 - 0.

My dad as supported the wanderers since the 50s, lived in Wigan but they didnt have a team!! (Wish they still didnt) he used to take me to burnden int Manny road terrace where id play football wi the empty cans or bovril cartons! My best mate at Primary school was a Everton fan and i said to my dad i wanted to be one to he said fine but dont think your comin watchin Bolton wi me that Sat i was back at Burnden. Never looked back since!

Two older brothers are Bolton fans. About it really.

Born in Salford, surrounded by reds, went to Primary School in Salford surround by Reds, went to High School in Salford surround by Reds, all my mates when growing up were reds, work in Salford with a load of yep you guessed it reds, but luckly for me, my step-dad came along and decided to take me to Bolton v Crewe in about 86 in the Freight Rover we won 1-0 and I never looked back and have been spreading the word myself ever since

first home game i ever went to in 86, the 3rd/4th division play-off when we were relegated. the following season, scarboro on the august bank holiday was my 1st away game..police helmets flying around the away end that day, wolves had trashed the place the week before. loved it and never looked back !

I was 11 and had just started senior school when a new mate said he supported BWFC, he said I could go with him and his dad if I wanted to, that was the start of my 36 year relationship with the whites, I have, and still do, love every minute of being a BWFC fan, the highs and lows are something we have grown up with over the years,

My dad supported Bolton and took me as a kid. Don't remember any other option. All my mates supported Bolton and we went everywhere and had a great craic. Some harrowing times but no regrets.

i remember watching the draw for the third round of the cup on grandstand and my dad promising to take my brother and i to the match if we got a home game.

we were drawn against stoke,in what became the first ever fa cup game to be played on a sunday.

john byrom bagged a hat trick,we won 3-2,crowd of just under 40,000 and the rest they say is history.

 

i've done more than enough for this club over the years but due to all my 'illnesses' haven't attended since we stuffed leeds 4-1.i may come out of retirement for the knockout stages of the european tour. #-o
