January 11, 200620 yr 5.1 million euros I happy with that. That's maybe over ??3m? More than I was hoping for the sale of Okocha.
January 11, 200620 yr well if he has, it's a shame cos he was a legend, but ??3m for him ain't bad.. would have been good to see him play well this final season though
January 11, 200620 yr can't be true surely even oil rich nutters would realised they were getting massively ripped off
January 11, 200620 yr good to be honest wer gettin a bit of a joke him doing nothing each game and not givin 100%
January 11, 200620 yr if we have got about 3 million for him i will be very happy with that its a shame to see him go but supose thats a great price for him considering his days were numbered. whats gonna happen to the banner now then who will replace him?
January 11, 200620 yr 3 million quid for a 32yr old with 6 months left on his contract? haha No chance, won't even get 500k
January 11, 200620 yr First report but no confirmation. http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/11012006/3/okoc...ub-sources.html thats not the only place saying it http://www.wldcup.com/news/2006Jan/2006011...rld_soccer.html
January 11, 200620 yr Is this not to do with him joining in the summer (as he can now sign a pre-contract agreement) and so he'll get ??3m over the 18 months of his contract.
January 11, 200620 yr also something on this site http://www.middleeastfootball.com good luck to the lad i say, im just wondering if the 5 million euros is something to do with his contract as oppose to a transfer fee?
January 11, 200620 yr good to be honestwer gettin a bit of a joke him doing nothing each game and not givin 100% please say you are fishing
January 11, 200620 yr good to be honestwer gettin a bit of a joke him doing nothing each game and not givin 100% please say you are fishing no, just clueless

January 12, 200620 yr That's the value of his contract, not a transfer fee Wonderd when someone was going to explain it to the Kids!
January 12, 200620 yr good to be honestwer gettin a bit of a joke him doing nothing each game and not givin 100% he has nt played most games. at times he has been trying too hard. bring back comstive. And Jules. FFS, there's some f??cking halfwits on here.
January 12, 200620 yr FFS, there's some f??cking halfwits on here. some of them aren't that intelligent, f'cking quarter-wits
January 12, 200620 yr A legend at the club for sure, what that man has done for the club is 1- made others stand up and take note 2- spoilt the fans with some of the most magic of tricks, flicks and wonderful tequnique 3- taken the piss out of some of the most recognised players in the world 4- been part of a team that have made their first trip into europe 5- captained us in a domestic cup final 6- sold load of merchandise 7- and... made all friends of mine very gelous and wish they had him at their club!!! however... the time comes when it's time to move on and from this season's performances its clear to see that for whatever reason jay jay hasnt been happy at the club and doesnt have the influence on the pitch as he once used to. In truth it shows how far we have moved on as a club if Bolton Wanderers no longer need Jay Jay !!!
January 12, 200620 yr Perhaps his ability is on the wane. But one thing he does is never hide. At Old Trafford on NYE, he was always available to pass to and trying. Granted not much came off for him but you've got to be in it to win it. And the f??ckwits around me who couldn't see that. And yet cheer our reputed Captain Fantastic who was f??cking anonymous in the same game and thinks responsibility is chasing the ref round the pitch.
January 12, 200620 yr Nolan is having a good season! Still unsure on him as a captain, he has a lot to learn and is maybe still too young in this role! Any offers on who else should be captain, reasons for and against!
January 12, 200620 yr The issue isn't who should be captain. Personally not sure that matters a great deal. I expect players to take responsibility especially at places like Old Trafford. Okocha always wants the ball and for that he will always have my respect. Captain Kev at Old Trafford went into anonymous mode. Something I reckon he's prone to do a bit too often.
January 12, 200620 yr That is one thing you can say about JJ he never hides on a pitch , go bad or indifferent he looks for the ball and wants the ball , as said soemtimes does fuckall with it but still whats it
