Is this not to do with him joining in the summer (as he can now sign a pre-contract agreement) and so he'll get ??3m over the 18 months of his contract.

A legend at the club for sure, what that man has done for the club is

1- made others stand up and take note

2- spoilt the fans with some of the most magic of tricks, flicks and wonderful tequnique

3- taken the piss out of some of the most recognised players in the world

4- been part of a team that have made their first trip into europe

5- captained us in a domestic cup final

6- sold load of merchandise

7- and... made all friends of mine very gelous and wish they had him at their club!!!

 

however... the time comes when it's time to move on and from this season's performances its clear to see that for whatever reason jay jay hasnt been happy at the club and doesnt have the influence on the pitch as he once used to.

In truth it shows how far we have moved on as a club if Bolton Wanderers no longer need Jay Jay !!!

Perhaps his ability is on the wane.

 

But one thing he does is never hide. At Old Trafford on NYE, he was always available to pass to and trying. Granted not much came off for him but you've got to be in it to win it.
