Nicky Hunt

8-[ Listened to the match on the radio sounded like Nicky Hunt had good game I think we should the give the lad a chance after all he his local lad.

So if Hilter was born in Daubhill you;d say the same?

The lad is dogshit

The lad is dogshit

I thought he had a reasonable game for ONCE

He did not have a good game, but fortunately Bruno, Ben Haim and Gardner did otherwise the score would have been a lot worse.

I thought Campo did well when he came on and I wish he was signing an extension rather than Jay Jay.

Does doing nothing wrong mean he had a bad game? Shite or not the lad is on a loser evertime he walks out on the pitch by some.

The truth is we don't have a premiership standard right back.

Whether or not he is a good footballer is a matter of opinion. Today he was standing off Kewall and allowing him time on the ball right through the 90 minutes. He lost two players for the cross just before the goal. And a number of times did not provide an outlet pass for Tal Ben Haim when he was under pressure.

These are basic parts of fullback play.

Add to this the way he turns away from every header, hesitates on 50 50's, basically he chickens out. The fact is you are more likely to get injured if you tackle half heartedly or if you are going up for a header with you head turned away from the ball.

6 weeks ago Joey O'Brien was the best thing since bread became sliced. the lad gets tired towards the end of his first season and now he's shite. Nicky Hunt was quality in his first year and had an average second (much like Nolan did) but unfortunately picked up a bad injury this year... and he's shit as well apparently.

I'm so glad bolton never win trophies - cus then some of you miserable c*nts would have nothing to moan about.

Roll on the end of the world eh

You, sir, are a c??ck! The lad did nothing wrong for 90 minutes yet you would rather blame him for absolutely anything! Why don't you piss off down the road to Man U where the expectations are higher?

Hunt played well today all the defence did same that player who likes to call himslef Okocha didn't put snow on it last kick of the first half, would have given us a great chance.

So if Hilter was born in Daubhill

:cry Just read about getting rid of Big Sam that really would'nt help at all we should stop getting on our soap boxes and get behind Sam and the players and save our energy for the stands

well said campos curl, the players are clearly lacking in confidence, great fans back there team when they are down.

we're a lost cause kipper

decent local game today, we even seemed to have sold out

yet no noise, again

problem with the away fans is many are new age fans - plenty women and kids, and its a sit down and clap politely do for them

i'd rather them there than nowt, mind

as fert game, we were ok without the ball, and poor with it

prob should have been 2 up, then its a different game

ps chicken hunt made a very, very brave challenge today, when he and, i think, ngotty saved a certain goal

Hunt did well enough today IMO.

Bruno and Ricky were excellent. TBH was man of the match.

Our midfield 3 and forward 3 were unimpressive. Stelios should have scored and Nolan/Davies should have done better with the chance they both went for.

What is beginning to p??ss me off about Nicky Hunt is: the fact that people feel the need to start threads on here today singling his performance out, whether good or bad.

He's one of ours FFS, or maybe it's pure jealousy by Bolton fans about a local boy doing well for himself.

Disappointment of the day: Sam's tactical substitutions. The choice and usage of subs was a little strange today. But you can't get it right all the time.

PS The great Stephen Patrick Morrissey wrote a song that sums up Bolton fans' feelings toward Nicky Hunt:

sellwehateback.jpg

We hate it when our friends become successful

And if they???re northern, that makes it even worse

And if we can destroy them

You bet your life we will

Destroy them

If we can hurt them

Well, we may as well ...

It???s really laughable

Ha, ha, ha ...

You see, it should???ve been me

It could???ve been me

Everybody knows

Everybody says so

=D>

nicky hunt played well, should keep his place for next week end of story...

Nicky Hunt did OK, as did the whole back four. The problem with Nicky is that he never plays a simple pass, he always hoofs it, i think if we could keep possession and string a few passes about, we'd be better

we had 6 'footballers' in front of the back four

we didn't pass the ball until campo came on

thats what I feel we need. We need to pass and keep posession wether its positive or negative play, Campo looked good when he came on, although not the quickest of players his passing is very good and he usually seems up for it.

campo should now start til the end of the season

+ todays back 5

after that, nobody is sure of a game

Agree with you 100%, the midfield all need a kick up the ar.se.

Hyypia and TBH had good games today.

i thought we played into hypias hands

and how that assault on gardner is punished in the same way as fayes 'timewasting' is beyond me

Nicky Hunt did OK today. They all did OK today. Unfortunately Liverpool were better then us and we lost. Live with it

Has Kavin Davies got some photos of Allardyce in a compromising position , because he was sh'ite today and should have been subbed, OK I know he works his boll'ox off up front but today it wasn't happening, he should have gone off but there was no way was Sam taking him of, WHY?
