So what happened to the six signings before the World Cup Sam?

At the time I thought you were being over-optimistic, but even I didn???t think you???d release N???Gotty without having a suitable replacement ready to sign. How foolish I was, you???ve made an entire career of missing out on any decent signings.

Tell you what Sam, why not forget your tv career for a year or two and actually do the job you are highly paid for at BWFC. How can you possibly be out there looking at players if you???re sat in ITV make-up having your bikini line waxed?

As most people are at work or college through the day they may have missed your tv schedule last Friday, so here it is in all its glory:

9am To Buy or Not To Buy (BBC1)

Sam Allardyce and Henrik Pedersen are Scottish island-hopping as they search for a new home for Hampshire's Nicola Rees, who has fallen in love with the Shetland Isles.

10am The Jeremy Kyle Show (ITV1)

Jeremy Kyle deals with more dilemmas, fiery confrontations and topical issues all in front of a studio audience. Today Jeremy talks to Sam Allardyce who wants to know who his real father is. Will it be Roland from Grange Hill or Wayne the Walrus from Blackpool Zoo? Jeremy will reveal the results of a DNA test.

10.30am Trisha (C5)

Sam Allardyce and Phil Gartside used to be great mates until tales of thieving, prostitution and lies led these two men to war. Vicious rumours and threatening text messages are the only contact these two ex-best friends have had for months - until today. Also on the show today, Hazel says that today will be her last-ever confrontation with her delinquent daughter Nicky Hunt. Hazel feels like her daughter's slave and says if she doesn't give in to her demands then it ends in physical fights.

11.10am Without a Trace (C4)

Sam Allardyce seems to be a happy man awaiting the arrival of a new has-been footballer. But when he disappears after his secondary school reunion, Jack and the team find Sam???s blood at the location of his disappearance. The FBI agents also discover that he was under investigation for financial improprieties at work, and was possibly having an extramarital affair with another married man.

12noon Home & Away (C5)

Jared races to tell Henrik about Sam???s infidelity causing a huge scene in the Reebok car park. Nicky misses her friends from the Bay. El-Hadji has a run-in with the law.

12.30pm Bargain Hunt (BBC1)

Fly-on-the-wall documentary following Bolton manager Sam Allardyce to Africa as he searches for more rubbish footballers who have the ambition to come to the UK and behave badly.

1pm Brainteaser (C5)

Interactive game show in which Sam Allardyce asks four contestants to guess his next substitution. Can Sam go a whole series without anyone fathoming his choices? Viewers can also take part via phone and e-mail.

1.30pm Neighbours (BBC1)

Sam relishes Jared's humiliation when he reveals Jussi's lies. Sam battles the shame with a lie of his own. Sam also struggles to come to terms with early retirement. Abdoulaye makes a drastic decision to head off Nicky's cluckiness. El-Hadji has a run-in with the law.

2pm Diagnosis Murder (BBC1)

Detective series. Sam suspects that some of his fellow managers may be corrupt, but he has no way of proving it, and when he starts an investigation, he finds himself framed for the murder of El-Hadji Diouf.

3pm Countdown (C4)

Sam Allardyce counts down the days until the start of the World Cup and those 6 signings he has promised the Bolton supporters.

3.30pm Art Attack (ITV1)

The above programme has had a last-minute name change and will now be shown as ???Art Defend??? as presenter Sam Allardyce did not understand the word ???Attack???.

4pm Deal or No Deal (C4)

The latest chapter of Sam Allardyce???s quest to sign a decent player. The smart money is on ???no deal???.

5pm The Weakest Link (film) (BBC2)

Anne Robinson stars in this big screen adaptation of the life story of Bolton manager Sam Allardyce. With cameo appearances from Henrik Pedersen, Mario Jardel and Franck Passi.

7pm A Question of Sport (BBC1)

Martin Bashir asks the question ???is hoof and hope football a sport????. Includes interviews with Sam Allardyce, Pele and David Beckham.

7.30pm Coronation Street (ITV1)

Nicky reels when she realises what she's done. Things are awkward for Sam and Henrik. Jussi regrets waging war on Stelios when it emerges that he could end up homeless. El-Hadji has a run-in with the law.

8Pm Eastenders (BBC1)

Sam and Henrik's wedding doesn't go as planned. Nicky struggles with his new responsibilities. El-Hadji has a run-in with the law.

8.30pm Big Brother Live Eviction (C4)

With Bruno, Matt, and Khalilou already evicted, one of the remaining housemates has spent their last night in the Big Brother house, but who will be evicted? Certainly not Henrik Pedersen. Join Sam Allardyce for the first of tonight's live shows.

9pm X Factor: Battle of the Stars (ITV1)

The five remaining acts each have to sing two songs live - and face the judgement of Simon, Sharon and Louis. Sam Allardyce reveals who hasn't done enough to stay, and who is out of the competition. Turn over to ITV2 after the show as Nicky Hunt interviews the contestants live.

10pm Law and Order: Special Victims Unit (C5)

Documentary about the effects of Sam Allardyce???s hoof and hope football on the loyal BWFC fans. Contains some disturbing scenes. Simon (43) from Great Lever tells the programme how the tactics adopted by Sam Allardyce lead him to attempt to take his own life. Sharon (25) from Blackrod is convinced the long ball tactics she witnessed last season have made her infertile.

10.30pm My Name is Sam

In the karma comedy first series finale, Sam decides to cross number one off his list: stole a living as a football manager. But he runs into major problems when he realises he has been found out by the BWFC faithful and season-ticket sales have dropped to an all-time low.

11pm Sam & Henrik Go Large (film) (BBC1)

Television comedy spin-off about two desperate men who travel to Ibiza to expose their football talent to a wider audience and, more importantly, to lose their virginity. Despite having adult supervision along for the ride, the pair soon cross paths with a world famous DJ and spot the men of their dreams in a backstreet, rat-infested club. Contains disturbing scenes of Sam Allardyce in the bath. And Henrik Pedersen playing football.

Natasha, what an excellent post! =D>  =D>  =D>

Well done. I'm not convinced you're entirely wrong either.

Thanks Traf. A bit over the top I accept, but besides the Chelsea manager he is the most high profile manager in the Prem. You hardly ever see Moyes, Hughes or Jewell on tv. And rightly so. They are managers, not Ant-n-Dec.

Isn't this mental natasha "the man" from the BBC website??

Who knows? But previous form elsewhere is irrelevant.

Quality posts are always welcome, it makes a change from the usual dross and drivel.

This is a football message board, not the judging panel for the Booker Prize.

I think Natasha's post is DRIVEL

you???ve made an entire career of missing out on any decent signings.

This is Bolton Wanderers we are talking about, not Liverpool, Bayern Munich or Real Madrid. The quality of players that we are seeing in a white shirt these days is beyond my wildest dreams.

We are maintaining our status as a team in the top division in England, it's unbeleivable. Wake me up I'm in a dream.

Bolton fans don't deserve the players we already have, never mind buying some more.

What would you be saying if we were in 6th place in division 1 were we belong instead of in the Prem.

Okocha, Bergson, Stelios, Hierro, Hunt, Diouf, NGotty, Gardner have worn the Bolton badge to name just a few.

We are in fantasy land and there is a good chance that we could go another full season in the best league in the world without dropping down to our level.

As for Sam appearing on telly and radio, I don't think I will bite on that one

You're never a bird anyway, they haven't a clue who Sam Allardyce is.

It???s called progress and ambition my friend.

Just because we were crap once doesn???t mean we should automatically expect to go back there.

We now have a half-decent squad that has finished top 10 in successive seasons, the main aim should be to take it a step further i.e. finish top 5. Ok, it???ll be tough but I truly believe if we???d had a competent manager in charge for the last 8 games of the season we???d have finished 4th.

Instead we had a manager too stubborn to change tactics and who spent all his spare time talking about the England job.

By all means keep the ???little Bolton??? tag going, but we are not so little anymore.

I am afraid that your views and mine on BWFC are wide apart. To say Allardyce isn't a competent manager after what he has achieved is just wrong.

I don't know who you are or anything about your previous posts but I disagree with most of what you are saying today sorry
