exiledwhite2 Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Henry 'bought the penalty' That doesn't offend me too much. As Casino said - the refs won't give it if you don't go down, which is stupid. He was fouled though, he beat Carvalho all ends up and Carvalho swung a leg and made contact with his standing foot. Foul. Ronaldo, Deco, Postiga and Figo however were genuinely diving - i.e going down after no foul or even contact was made. Unfortunately Portugal are without question divers and cheats. We've seen it ourselves with Vaz. It's sad because they are a good team.
