In the premier league if you dive it doesn't matter whether if you have been touched by the defender or not, you don't get the penalty if you dive.

That doesn't offend me too much. As Casino said - the refs won't give it if you don't go down, which is stupid.

 

He was fouled though, he beat Carvalho all ends up and Carvalho swung a leg and made contact with his standing foot. Foul.

 

 

Ronaldo, Deco, Postiga and Figo however were genuinely diving - i.e going down after no foul or even contact was made.

 

Unfortunately Portugal are without question divers and cheats. We've seen it ourselves with Vaz. It's sad because they are a good team.

I'm not convinced Portugal are at all special.

Too much diving and theatricals for my liking: plus they were very bad losers last night with Big Phil harassing the referee at the end.
