Apparently on his way out of Cel'ic, worth a punt as a squad player?

In a word NO

Nah,poor mans Bellamy.

Can't remember how old Thommo is

If he was dirt cheap he could provide cover at left back and in midfield

But on balance, probably a no

i understood he very nearly joined in january

depends on wages but as a sqaud player might be worth it.

not sure that playing in a third wolrd country will have developped his game but to provide an option on the lefty side maybe.

not sure how he would fit in with quinton fortune though, who according to a few untied fans is a very good player when fit.

one of the mayoo fans at work reckon fortune is a damn good holding player and was more than capable of playing there when keane was injured or suspended.

he also thinks if it wasn't for giggs and injury fortune would've got a lot more games for united

Apparently he's put about 8 stone on and is now refereeing at premier Fives.

dont need a manc to tell me that.

fortune is a very decent player, just VERY injury prone..

Sorry that didnt come out right he was saying the in his opinion Fortune given the right luck could've been one of uniteds key player over the past few years!

I'd have him back, but purely because he is probably my favourite ever white.

In realism he is too slow, and wouldn't fit into our system.

But we'll still have our memories of how good he was back in 97/98. Almost kept us up with his screamers that season.

His wonder strike at Liverpool. =D>

I used to like him, and thought he was a good player, but met him once in McGinlay's pub and thought he was an arrogant fcuk. Okay I could hardly walk because I was so pissed but he was the only player there who acted that way. [-X So i don't care if he comes back or not.

Bring him back, and sub him on just for a free-kick, let him scream one in and then sub him back off again.

Id have gone for Enoch Powell..

He was a great free-kick taker from the edge of the box but a shit passer of the ball.

My judgement must be clouded, but I thought he was an average player and the money we got for him was an excellent deal for the club.

I thought he was a great player for us, then again I was younger then and I thought Super John was good enough for the PL.

He was a great palyer for us then, but this is now , and we (Bolton) and the prem have moved on along way from those days

i don't think he did any one thing very well

he did a few things pretty well

a second rate nolan, if you like

my memory is of a dozen good games in the prem towards the end of the season - now that may have been because he'd worked it out, or maybe it was that he had the talent all along but didn't apply himself well enough

he'd be ok as a back up

great left foot, also put a foot in, and a decent passer, but surely would struggle in the prem now.

a decent passer

you gotta be joking [-X

scored some great goals, free kicks, long rangers, classy finishes

v. tranmere at burnden in the 100 goal season =D>

Really, he was shite for the majority of time he was with us. That debut goal against Forest has clouded everyone's judgements. He was also so left footed it was untrue....the turning circle of a fooking bus :-$

Well that's one thing both Thommo and Campo don't have in common then. :D
