Jay Jay was number 20, Djorkaeff was 10 i think. Hierro was the best in his short time though, we looked a far more classier a team than any other without him.

Got to agree, Youri was immense on the ball. His close control, passing and movement was top notch. Just imagine how good he was when he was at his peak!

 

JJ was a great player but often he was ineffective. Great to watch but not always an end product to his game.

He's the only player I have wanted to meet and never got the chance. He never went to the Player of the Year awards as he went straight back to France so wasn't to be.

 

Shame really, I think he would have really liked me.

In the days on long ball & direct football, okocha was worth the entrance fee alone imo.

 

And not just for tricks but for his all football abililty, movement and footballing brain. Truely a joy to watch.

I heard an interview with him on ESPN when he first signed for that American team, and he commented that one of his greatest regrets was not having met you PMW, although he did say that he did one day hope to bump into you

Okocha was 20 and Youri was 13. Anelka was 30 and Eidur was somehere in the teens I think.

Spot on, I had to tell a City fan at work that. he was amazed that Youri was higher than JJ.
