Bolton Bullies

Ahhhh Diddums! From the Sun!

FREDDIE LJUNGBERG says Arsenal must stand up to the Bolton bullies if they are going to get back into the Premiership title race.

The Gunners, who play at the Reebok tomorrow, lost 2-0 to them last season and have failed to win in four league visits there.

Arsenal ace Ljungberg said: ???We know what it is going to be like at Bolton and we???re ready for them.

???Last season we didn???t have the physical power we???ve had in previous years. We have spoken about the need to be stronger away from home.

???I hope a lot of the youngsters have learned their lesson from our dodgy patch last winter.???

Arsenal ruined their title charge with nine away defeats last season ??? seven of those losses came in the north.

The Gunners are 12 points behind Manchester United although they could make up ground on them as the leaders host Chelsea on Sunday.

But Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, 19, said: ???What happens there won???t mean anything if we don???t beat Bolton first.

???Bolton is the ground where I have suffered more than any other. I hope this time I???m a bit stronger and able to put my body into the tackle.

???We have to win ??? it???s fundamental to our title hopes.???

dont see a problem with that from arsenals point of view, the players are stating the obvious i reckon.

the paper are just exagerating it, like they always do. got a reaction from you though, so it must of worked...

Hopefully this will have a Liverpool esque effect on their players.

Team talk done !

Aye, it's only the Sun's byline that mentions bullies.

I hope we kick the f??cking sh??t out of them tomorrow, I really do. Nowt better than Arsene's post-match comments complaining about our 'direct style of play'.

gallas and rosicky out

I'm with AS on this, can't stand Lungberg, screams like a big girl...FFS remember him falling over when Gardner once breathed on him..

I like Arsenal. They are my second favourite team after Bolton and Thierry Henry is currently the best player in the world, almost as good as Tom Finney in his prime.

Tough game for us tommorow, they know what to expect, they are due to beat us, i hope Gardner is back we will need him and think he could make all the difference.

henry was best player in the world last year, far from the best player this season.

because he is playing up front on his own...

funny that, remind of another nons-coring black frenchman???

You do get the feeling that the Arse will be a bit more prepared for what they suspect they will be in for tomorrow. Maybe we should present them all with flowers during the pre-match hand shake. Now that would scare the shit out of them.

ha ha ha good shout. flowers and chocolates with a violinist at the side......although that may make them feel at home surrounded by sausage jockeys

Henry, Gallas, Rosicky, all missing. It is like the Sunday League game against the "rough" team when certain people suddenly remember that they have other arrangements they cannot get out of!
