It's all relative. Crowds are down and games are often boring, but it's ??24.50 to watch Steven bloody Seagal at Buxton Opera House, and I know what I'd rather spend my brass on.

I only ticked ??20 a game, because there wasn't a ??15 option. Thats what it's worth to watch a game at the Reebok imo.

I put ??20 as the baseline as if I had put ??15 everyone would have ticked that box. It's trying to draw on a happy medium and I think ??20 to ??30 is OK for this poll.

Tickets should be between ??15 & ??20, but even with more Sky money it'll never happen. We only just got more fans than Jackburn on Saturday, but I imagine their tickets were only half the price of ours.

By buying a season ticket my home matches work out at just over a fiver. Therefore i'm happy.

were you getting value for money when we first got in the premier league when we lost more than we won?

 

as our calibre and profile has risen, so have prices

i wouldn't pay ??5 to watch that sh??te on Saturday, but that's the thing with footy, you just never know

 

so if value for money is based on individual performances, no, not for Man City, but for Arsenal, Pompey & West Ham for example, yes

Season ticket holders this season have got feck all .There is no incentive to people to shell out ??450+ on a season ticket anymore. The club need to dosomwthing to get season ticket sales upto 22,000+. That might be done by lowering ticket prices or maybe even advertising them for a change

Just worked out that buying a season ticket at the reebok in advance has saved you ??2 this season. if the club offer anymore "money off" games before the end of the season, you will have paid more than Big E who buys a ticket for every game.

The big thing about season tickets is that you always got 2 or 3 games per season "free". This is no longer the case and it is something that BWFC need to sort out this summer.

Big E quids in. I understand where you are coming from though. I looked at purchasing a half season ticket but i decided to continue to pay as you play despite going every week as i knew i owuld end up only saving about a tenner over all. now it would have cost me a lot more. Do people think the membership is worthwhile as i am thinking of whether to get that or a season ticket next year

the club are eroding the value that a season ticket should give you, in my opinion next year season tickets for east lower should be ??380 or ??20 per game, i think i paid about ??450 this year, if season ticket prices are not reduced substantially i cannot see any reason why i should part with ??450 upfront next year, subsequently i think season tickets sales will head below 10,000 which is a serious situation for the club.

Prices are an absolute joke and unless you pay less than a 20 spot is generally far from VFM. ??30 plus for an hour and a half, with sometimes no more than 20 minutes of action - how can that be value for money. Problem is the prices need to be up and around the existing prices to sustain the players wages. the only way prices can come down is if players wages come down - which will never happen.

 

As someone who watches a fair bit of live music, the comparison of watching a decent show for ??15 (about average price) giving a good 2-3 hours of entertainment or watching a football game for ??35 with 90 minutes 'entertainment' maximum is none existent - the live music gig wins every time - despite me enjoying both equally.

It's true - I went to a Paul Weller concert in Brighton last month - Cost me 33 quid with three hours of quality entertainment garaunteed - I got to stand up the whole time with a beer in hand without some imbred prick in an orange tabbard telling me what to do - relatively speaking watching football tends to be piss-poor value for money

Cassie, you are one of the sensilbe ones around here, but you won't convince many who paid over ??20 for Saturday's match that it was value for money.

when it is good i agree it is a real high watching bolton, but games like saturday and previous games like wigan and watford were desperate, but i suppose that is the football fans lot and we have to take the rough with the smooth.
