i will make the trip now i reckon

Do you think it will make a differance to the turnout we have?

people will still find an excuse

do they come via Loughborough??

seriously though, an interesting development which at least shows they are willing to try summat.

IMO a very slight difference.

For many who can't be arsed going to the game it is the time involved to head to London for a 4PM KO on a Sunday.

The offer of free travel is much appreciated all the same. Well done BWFC.

One thing is for sure, with ??5 for Charlton and Fulham at home and free travel and reduced ticket prices for Arsenal away, all in the next 3 weeks, BSA will have plenty to moan about if these offers don't wake the sleeping armchair Bolton fans!!

Any chance of anyone posting the actual text for that link, not all of us bother registering on sites like that one.

Big Pat on the back to the club. Just hope people take it up and otherwise the club will think twice in future

Well done BWFC, its about time. Hopefully there should be a few more down there now. I unfortunately cannot be there due to being in Edinburgh. :(

Here you go, pal:

THE BEST things in life are free - and that, believe it or not, includes travelling down to the Emirates Stadium to watch your beloved Wanderers take on Arsenal in what promises to be a thrilling FA Cup Fourth Round tie.

Free? Yes, you have read it correctly, free! Gratis! Complimentary! On-the-house! Whatever you want to call it, Bolton Wanderers Football Club is offering supporters, who book with its Official Travel Club, the opportunity to travel to the Emirates Stadium on one of our luxury coaches free of charge.

The Club is picking up the tab, which would normally cost ??25.00 per person, to reward its supporters for their fantastic support this season - and to hopefully help Sam Allardyce's men progress into the next round of the competition as they bid to repeat history and once again become the first team to play at the new Wembley.

It really is a no-brainer! Why bother driving all the way yourself only to hunt high and low for a car parking space and be late for kick off? Why rush to grab a train only to find it hasn't arrived on time?

Book a place on one of our coaches now for the tie which takes place on Sunday 28 January 2007 (kick off 4:00pm).

Please contact our Promotions Department on 01204 673 663.

Coaches will depart the Reebok Stadium at 9:00am.

Please note: Supporters who have already purchased travel tickets for this game can obtain a refund from the Promotions Department.

Match tickets are priced at ??32 for adults and ??16 for persons aged 65 and above and for persons under the age of 16.

Tickets are on sale in the following order of priority:

Tuesday 16 January - Season Ticket Holders(one per season ticket holder)

Monday 22 January - Holders of Club Membership or Lifeline

Tuesday 23 January - Open Sale

All purchases are subject to availability.

Tickets can be purchased by POSTAL APPLICATION with applications including a self-addressed envelope.

If paying by cheque, the cheque must be signed, dated and made payable to BWFC with the value left open.

A single transaction fee of ??1.50 will be applied to ALL postal applications.

Supporters can also order over the phone (08718 712932*, ??1.50 transaction fee applies), by fax (08718 718183 ??1.50 transaction fee applies) or in person at the Reebok Stadium.

Applications should be addressed to:

10p per minute? For free transport? I can smell Carlos' blood boiling already!

For what it's worth, I think it's a great gesture by the club, but it'll have very little effect on the numbers prepared to travel. It's a nice touch for those who would be going anyway.

HOWEVER, the cynic in me says this: They know it won't increase our support by many, so it's a relatively cheap gesture. It will also give the club more ammunition to snipe at the fans again.

You can tell your all getting used to bieng in the top flight, just as Cynical as all the other Prem Fans.

It is a great gesture.

It won't increase our support by that much.

Part of this is probably a PR exercise based upon the Man City fans boycott thing, that hit the press.

One thing to note - And I obviously don't know the figure, but the club would recoup some if not all of the travel costs incurred by extra tickets sold as FA cup gate receipts are shared.

will you be coming traf? i can pick you up en route to the reebok

No thanks.

Free travel isn't enough to persuade me to travel with the notrights, biddies and cottagers on the Official Travel Club.

Ruth Crawshaw, Biffo, some Werthers and a travel rug as opposed to getting sh??tfaced on the way down: I don't think so ,thanks.

Plus, the likes of Dioufy Junior have already booked on it: what other reasons would i need to decline the offer?
