Ben Haim

Featured Replies

i thought he played very well wednesday night. he played centre half and right back covering for campo. he showed what a great player he is and will be, we'll miss him when he goes very badly.

i have no problem wth faye and meite as 1st choice centrebacks tbh.

i have always been a little critical of TBH saying he aint quite up to top 4 standard, after that performance on wednesday night, i take it back, it could have been a cricket score without his contribution was awesome.

i agree Faye and Meite are very solid. as we know Ben Haim will probably go t the end of the season therefore i would would play these two at centre back and Haim at right back..... build for the future :good:

I think that this El Cid guy must be very highly rated to have got him on a 4 year deal, be sad to see TBH go but like with all Sam's signings, I don't think we'll miss them when they're gone (not because they're shit, but because we always replace to same or better quality)

I'm hoping the club move heaven and earth to extend his contract before the end of the season.

Fat Phil will make him an offer he can't refuse.

I'm hoping the club move heaven and earth to keep him between now and the end of the season.

Feel exactly the same but the cynic in me says he's going. Not too bothered if he went to a Top 4 club though as that shows ambition.

if we pay him enough he stays unless a champions league team come in for him.

unfortuanlty i think someone will pay him a lot more than what we consider 'enough'

100% spot on Ani, except perhaps about always being right ::::::::lol::::::::

I can't believe people on here would pick Faye or Meite above TBH. TBH is a top quality defender and if he doesn't go to one of the big 4 teams, or a big Euro team, then their managers are all idiots.

How many right-footed centre backs would play as well at left back as he has done this season when required?

who said that????

listen you crusty-fanny-cheese, haim is leaving so we will be left with meite and faye as 1st choice and i have no problem with that...

be very difficult to pick him ahead of anyone when doesnt fookin play for us...

i also said i would have Haim in the back four

You crusty fanny cheese :good:

I can see him staying. Chelsov will go and bid super-duper money for some Portugese defender in the summer & Tal will realise that we're in Europe and he doesn't need to move.

Here's hoping :good:

Can't understand how some people question his ability; not convinced he'd be starting every week for one of the 'big 4', but I certainly wouldn't swap him for the likes of Agger/Ferreira/Brown/Silvestre

I'm still trying to work out how, with all the defensive work he was doing brilliantly, TBH was the only other White in the Arsenal area when Stelios should have squared the ball for an open goal for him .....

Awesome display from TBH on wednesday, if anyone wondered whether he would be commited once the Chels deal fell through, his performance was the answer.

It could well be argued that TBH and Meite were amongst our more effective attackers on Wednesday.

Fcuk off you mongtard

Can't believe that my comment has left such a response.

It was a light-hearted gesture, the simple fact being Ben Haim is good enough for a top four club IMO.

If anyone is a mongtard it's you for reacting in such aggressive fashion.

Steady on, folks.

Let's just get this in perspective: you're both mongtards!

Maybe if he had been offered the captaincy instead of the somewhat overated Nolan he may have been tempted to stay.

PH, you were moaning the other day about folk's lack of positivity. IMO, Nolan does a decent job of captaining the side and we look more of a unit since Okocha ceased to be captain.

Tal Ben Haim wants to play Champions league football. He feels that's where he belongs. It has nothing to do with who is the Bolton captain. Besides, if anybody else is going to be captain, it should be Speed.
