Three Card Trick

I was talking to an Everton season ticket holder at the weekend about the much heralded discounting for next season tickets.

For Everton at least - the 10% season ticket discount is a restatement of existing arrangements and only counts for early applications before the end of june. Which is the same as previoius years. The only difference this year is that the closing date has been brought forward to Mid May !

What chance the same deceit at the reebok ?

Because Gartside made such a big deal about it all, I would be surprised if there isn't some kind of genuine reduction. Mind you, you never know with this lot.

They stated at th e time that the 10% average reduction would be in addition to the 10% early purchase discount and the 5% lifeline member discount

and Ronaldhino

ok lets imagine this.

the club announces 10% reduction in prices.

thers is also a 10% reduction for eaerly purchase

and the 5% for life line.

so a season ticket comes in under ?400, do we all agree that this is a fair price to pay ?

i think it is.

if we agree what we think it fair before the rpices come out, saves people complaining just because they feel they have to.

I always go for the early ST discount. So if i get my ST at 20% less than last season i'll be happy. But will this happen?

However the reason why I am peeved about the whole ST issue and discount announcement is the way the club have f?cked around and not given the fans any info since their PR exercise.

As a comparison, 06/07 prices were released 30th March 2006.

2006/07 Announcement

And the 05/06 prices were announced 4th May 2005.

And that season, we actually qualified for Europe slightly afterwards. So the suggestion we are waiting for UEFA Cup qualification may not be true.

Good work JJ

How about emailing the club and just asking for a straight answer!!!

anything in the order of that suggested by ani would get the thumbs up from me

but then i think my tickets are good value anyway

others will no doubt expect a taxi pick up and drop off chucked in, all for a tenner

Your tickets are good value because you take kids who get their tickets extremely cheaply. If you were on your todd, I doubt you'd be quite so positive. Also, if you weren't on 100K a year but closer to the breadline, I doubt you'd be classifying is as such good value.

Also, if you weren't on 100K a year
:o

I suppose he did win the world title. =@

INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

?380 or less would be a fair figure IMO.

So the suggestion we are waiting for UEFA Cup qualification may not be true.

indeed you are correct.

out tomorrow according to the Bolton News

FIND out how much you will pay for your Wanderers season ticket in The Bolton News on Wednesday.

Bolton News

anyone got any feel for how many we've tended to sell at the early purchase 10% (it was 10% wasn't it??) discount price in previous years ?

indeed you are correct.

I think that the fact we lost to Arsenal and therefore have said goodbye to the Champions League has a lot to do with the timing of this.

Lets see what tomorrow brings
