Jussi

Featured Replies

was in a random Manor house on Wednesday night having a russian meal 30KM from Mikelli where Jussi is from.

Anyway after the meal i got talking to the chef who turned out to be a ex footballer who was on loan at

P N E and Millwall during his career.

His name is jokke kanganskorpi

anyway we got chatting and Bolton came up in conversation, next thing he told me to go outside with him and he got on his mobile and passed me the phone and Jussi was on the other end. We talked for about a couple of minutes and he was pleasent enough but got the feeling he couldnt give a shit about talking to a fan of the team he plays for.

He was in Helsinki preparing for the Finland game with Serbia this weekend..

anyway he told me not to worry and it will turn out to be a good season (for him or the team i aint sure :-k ]

One thing he has got is a massive summer house worth ?3m on the side of the lake in Mikelli which is very very nice :good:

Unfortunately, this is probably what most players are like. As long as they pick up their cash at the end of the week, they won't be bothered too much.

There will be the odd exception, but not many.

I'm not worrying at all. No way will we be relegated, despite the Bolton faithful being convinced that Sammy Lee isn't up to the job.

I'm still confident that we'll be challenging for UEFA at the end of the season :good:

To be fair Hughesy, if one of my mates rang me up in and evening and put some random fella on the phone i doubt i'd be too pleased about it.

People seem to believe that footballer should care about the fans of the club that pays their wages. The sad truth is very few of them actually do. However if it had been Dioufy, he'd have talked to you all night, and that fella is percieved as a total c?nt by the majority of the British football public.

what for the actual trophy or qualification again or possibly both?

I'd have asked him if he was planning on making a save this year and then told him to fcuk off.

A bit harsh I think.

Very harsh but hey, I get treated harshly sometimes in my job, for a relative pittance too

haven't you been told that your job has no relevance to football :p

Both - onwards & upwards!

Told some bloke called Fred Barber who's on your coaching staff that he's going to join Allardyce at Newcastle next summer.

This Barber bloke coaches with Craig Dootson who plays for Hyde Utd, he passed the news on.

You need to procure a test kit for those tablets sonny. Hallucinogenics shouldn't be in there.

No worries lad, I'm just passing on what I've been told and I've no idea who Fred Barber is, time will tell if what I've told has been right though.

He's probably right though isn't he? I'd have Given any day.

Given ??

I have been told you are a 'taker'.

I thought you all lived and breathed football up there.

Anyone who is anyone would know who Fred Barber is - especially fans in the North East.

Harsh but very very funny

Well if we ended up with Harper or Given I'd not be too upset at all.

Well if we ended up with Harper or Given I'd not be too upset at all.

Harper's a decent keeper actually, some think he's got little ambition as he's sat on the bench here for nearly 15 years and always been in Given's shadow, not sure if he's good enough for England but he does have the ability of a good standard Premiership keeper.

I think Given will be the one to go though and I don't think you will have much chance of getting him, we've got another lad called Tim Krul who we're hoping is going to be better than the lot of them.

Out of interest, why was Harper dropped? Not put a hand wrong has he?

I rate Harper a lot which is why wasn't celebrating that Given was out for opening day.

just out of interest toon, how many more defeats before fat sams job is under threat?

Given pulled off an absolutely stunning save and by the looks of it had absolutely no chance with the Citeh goals. Jussi will be a benchwarmer.
