Zico Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 quick note to those who haven't been down the Lane before if you look on the back of your ticket, it will lead you to believe that Seven Sisters is the nearest tube station it may well be, however, last season's game ko'd at 4.05pm and we got to Seven Sisters at 3.55pm anticipating a swift shandy and be in the ground just after kick off we got there at 4.30 after a swift walk, a run and a bus ride the point being, it's nowhere fookin near the ground

You mean London has more than one train station? flashy b@stards. BTW Spurs is another ground where we get naff all at, so just remind me why are we going? Apart from Biffo and EG I don't think anyone on this board was born the last time we won at WHL
Zozzy Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Spurs is another ground where we get naff all at, so just remind me why are we going? One good reason is a trip round Covent Garden, I'll be sampling a few local flat beers with the local cockney geezers, its always a good crack round there........Trouble is there'll be at least 6 leighthers on our mini-bus so they won't be able to understand a word we say

Guest SSM Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 For those who don't know WHL is nowhere near seven sisters tube. The nearest station is White Hart Lane which is a 2 min walk from the ground. Liverpool Street station is where you get the train, the stop before WHL is Northumberland Park and there is a pub there called the Northumberland Park Arms. That will be my recommendation.
