Agree totally, seems funny Bolton fans complaining about kiddies getting p?ssed and enjoying themselves when they were doing exactly the same when they were younger. And since when has boozed-up lads having a beer fight been so bad - getting legless & acting the fool is the best part of any away trip, the football itself is usually dire (like last night).

No matter what age or generation people watch/watched football in they should always have a bit of respect for other people who are there watching the game. Doesn't cost anything for a bit of common decency. You can get pissed, get passionate, be vocal and enjoy the game without offending other people.

Seeing piss poor pints of ale getting launched into the stratosphere at Birmingham away was a lot more entertaining than the match. We have all been there, It is part of your passage to adulthood, they are pushing the boundarys of what is acceptable just as many generations before have done, some of these kids will turn out to be scallys and some will turn out to be decent citizens, for me I am glad to see that there is some connection with there town and passion for there football team, the football club gives the kids a sense of belonging, develops loyalty passion and friendships that will last a lifetime. I know that football, both playing and watching I had an avenue to channel my energy, I was not always correct im my behaviour but have learnt many many lessons on the way that stand me in good stead.
