October 7, 200718 yr Pathetic attendance today, we must've had more glory hunters in previous seasons than I thought
October 7, 200718 yr Author I know of more Bolton fans not going, than fans who actually go. And these people have been going for 20odd years.
October 7, 200718 yr Pathetic attendance today, we must've had more glory hunters in previous seasons than I thought You can see why though with utter cockwipes like you around.
October 7, 200718 yr funny, i thought it looked like there were about 23k on, certainly didnt seem like 20k?
October 7, 200718 yr villa will be the 1st not so sure Villa will defo bring twice as many as chelsea, there cannot of been more 1500 chelsea on today.
October 7, 200718 yr villa will be the 1st Maybe not. I didn't go today due to the cost, ?26 for the cheapest seat in the house even with a ?5 discount for my lifeline membership. Against Villa it should be much cheaper and I'll be there. Maybe more fans are picking which games to attend based on the cost of that game?

Last season with a membership ALL games charged at Category C ?21 Adult ?10 Child = ?31 Same game this season with a fiver off ?26 Adult ?16 Child = ?42 A rise of roughly 36% to sit in the North Stand Lower

October 8, 200718 yr I know of more Bolton fans not going, than fans who actually go. And these people have been going for 20odd years. There is something seriously wrong with football when fans of 20 years are walking away in there droves, when we were in division 3 there were 30 + lads we would stand with week in week out, now about 10 of them still go, last season a group of us off here had meetings with club reps to discuss what we thought was wrong, we highlighted the need for unreserved seats, supporters bar in the stadium both before and after the game, the club did nowt and as they say you reap what you sow.
October 8, 200718 yr I know of more Bolton fans not going, than fans who actually go. And these people have been going for 20odd years. Same Here. I must know 20 lads who can't be arsed anymore, but used to love it in the 90's
October 8, 200718 yr Maybe walking through the hotel car park and seeing cars worth more than the average house highlights how out of control the players wages have become. They used to say in the 70s/80s that players were reletively hagh paid because their career was short and they needed to set money aside for their retirement. I'm sorry, but investing ?100k in a posh sports car is not setting money aside for retirement!
October 8, 200718 yr 18,000 home fans for a game against Chelsea. Just think what it would be if we are playing Scunthorpe next season!!!! I said the club had got the pricing policy wrong. ?39 to watch yesterdays game! Someone is having a laugh
October 8, 200718 yr Last 5 Games against Chelsea at the Reebok - 07/08 - 20,059 06/07 - 23,559 05/06 - 27,266 04/05 - 27,653 03/04 - 26,717
October 8, 200718 yr It would have been the first since 18,795 against Southampton in April 1996. In 138 home league games in the PL since then, the three lowest crowds have all been in Sammy Lee's 5 games. Shite manager or the Bolton public got bored of PL football in the summer of 2007? I also think people got fed up with Allardyces style of football over the last 12 months and It is not an easy job to get people through the gates while losing week in week out.
October 8, 200718 yr Thinking about it, There would have been less than 18000 home fans yesterday. What can the club do? Offer cheaper tickets? The ST people wont be happy then! How did we know this was going to happen?
October 8, 200718 yr Villa at home may be saved by the big following that they have + it is one of the bring a Junior Whites member for free game. If it does reach 20,000 - the next home game v 'Boro is an absolute cert to be sub 20,000.
October 8, 200718 yr 18,000 home fans for a game against Chelsea. Just think what it would be if we are playing Scunthorpe next season!!!! I said the club had got the pricing policy wrong. ?39 to watch yesterdays game! Someone is having a laugh 31? seeing as there were plenty lower tier seats available anyway, as we saw the other night folk won't pay a fiver, so why bother
October 8, 200718 yr 31? seeing as there were plenty lower tier seats available anyway, as we saw the other night folk won't pay a fiver, so why bother aye 5/10 pound a ticket and we struggled to about 19k including all the scrotes on kids for a quid. price is a shitty excuse when it comes to games like that. whilst ?31 quid is a bit steep it's still cheaper than most prem teams.
October 8, 200718 yr The Sporting Life yesterday/early this morning had the crowd as 19,995. Me suspects the club added a few on after the result to ensure no further negative spin. Still pitiful. Some people can't be arsed that's the bottom line, unfortunately it's infectious.
Where there have been less than 20000?
