Maybe not. I didn't go today due to the cost, ?26 for the cheapest seat in the house even with a ?5 discount for my lifeline membership. Against Villa it should be much cheaper and I'll be there. Maybe more fans are picking which games to attend based on the cost of that game?

There is something seriously wrong with football when fans of 20 years are walking away in there droves, when we were in division 3 there were 30 + lads we would stand with week in week out, now about 10 of them still go, last season a group of us off here had meetings with club reps to discuss what we thought was wrong, we highlighted the need for unreserved seats, supporters bar in the stadium both before and after the game, the club did nowt and as they say you reap what you sow.

I must know 20 lads who can't be arsed anymore, but used to love it in the 90's

Maybe walking through the hotel car park and seeing cars worth more than the average house highlights how out of control the players wages have become.

 

They used to say in the 70s/80s that players were reletively hagh paid because their career was short and they needed to set money aside for their retirement. I'm sorry, but investing ?100k in a posh sports car is not setting money aside for retirement!

aye 5/10 pound a ticket and we struggled to about 19k including all the scrotes on kids for a quid.

 

price is a shitty excuse when it comes to games like that.

 

whilst ?31 quid is a bit steep it's still cheaper than most prem teams.

The Sporting Life yesterday/early this morning had the crowd as 19,995.

Me suspects the club added a few on after the result to ensure no further negative spin. Still pitiful.
