Its like anything in Football - money talks. If we meet Real's compo package, we'll get him. Wouldn't be a bad choice either.

the bloke is my choice all things considered

if speed is the dogs bollocks in the dressing room, surely coleman can get him on side

hes also a centre back which can't be a bad thing

and he's one of my greens on betfair

Best hint in that BEN story is the quote regarding Coleman not moving his family over and he is missing them.

That as much as anything is a clear signal to BWFC - to come and get me.

Use a third of the Faye transfer money to buy Coleman out of his contract. Job done.

He is really the only name that has interested me since lil Sam left.

I'd be happy with Coleman. I really would.

PG, if you are reading this, get him in now!

TBH - I didn't realise Coleman had gone to a 2nd Div team in Spain.

Have to agree. He has always been my first choice.

Once the dust has settled I think we may hear that Speed (as the Senior Pro) had a big hand in Gartside's decision to sack Lee. Now if Speed has got the players backing, him becoming part of Coleman's all Welsh backroom staff could work well for us in getting the players all back on-side quickly.

cant understand why he'd be anyone's first choice myself. A proven year in year out struggler with fulham. I 'd prefer to keep knox in charge and be more patient. the right man will turn up eventually i'm sure.

Kept them up playing half decent football with this best players sold season on season with limited cash for replacements. Kept difficult characters like Boa Morte on side too, if you look passed the fact he is a goofy Taff then he has excellant credentials.

Well, he's better than Megson or Souness.

He's a darkie too, that'll keep Elk & Diouf happy!

I want Coleman to get the job - as currently ?25 of my hard-earned sits on him with Paddy Power (at 13/2, no less!) Well, I got on early.

Posted
you can get 17/2 on betfair

the early bird didn't get this worm

He's been up and down like a whore's drawers over the last few days. (I don't think he's going to get the job now, either.)

Just confirmed on sky sports news,

Chris Coleman's agent Alan Smith has revealed the Real Sociedad manager has met with Bolton officials.

The Bolton News reported on Tuesday that the former Fulham boss is tempted by the vacant managerial post at The Reebok Stadium.

It is understood Sociedad could be willing to release Coleman from his three-year contract for around 1million euros (?700,000).

Smith has confirmed Coleman spoke to The Trotters in Spain last week, but says there has been no progress since then.

"A Bolton representative had a meeting in San Sebastien last week with Chris Coleman but as of today we've heard no more from Bolton Wanderers," he told Sky Sports News.
