And I'm thinking who the hell is "we"? the club own the bastard place! The club don't do the bookings for the suites, thats De Veres. Speaking to one of the Lifeline people a few years agpo about the Lifeline do's, used to be a good night at Pembroke halls, they told us the club signed an agreement with De-veres to hold the LL do's at the prem suite for the next 10 years. And had no control over the prices charged (as they were selling soft drinks from a 2 litre bottle, we worked out that they were selling a 2 litre bottle of Coke for ?27 (?1.35 for a 100ml glass). How many wou;ld actually have a pre-match pint in there if it was ?4 a pint ?

Make it as simple as possible to et tickets, even up to an hour before KO. 2. Unreserved 15 quid seats for the whole of the North Stand. First come, first served. 3. Increased train/bus service to/from the town centre. 4. Outside 'entertainment' - vans, stalls, fruitcakes with 'The End is Nigh' sandwich boards. 5. Open up the Premier Suite with a tradition Bolton Wanderers theme for a couple of hours either side for a good ol' well oiled sing song. 6. Relax the hardline facist approach from the glorified shopping trolley collectors in orange jackets. And one point to add myself, don't hide behind the 'segregation' of the stands, tell it as it is, West Stand is for families and normals, North Stand for lads to be lads, East Stand for the rest. That way, everyone knows the score. And finally, how much affect has the smoking ban had? is there a quiz if you cant work out which stand you should be in? Im currently in north stand! maybe i could sit with the other gingers..in the dugout

But they have to want to do it; if the Council or Police 'consider' something to be innappropriate, then fck them, we pay their wages, they are civil servants and as such are answerable to us, not the other way round. Regading Devere, that might be a tricky one if its contractual.
