Or even move

must be all saving up for belgrade or some other pis s poor excuse..

embarrassing

I couldnt attend today's match because basically im skint :::::lol:::::, but if was able to go i would be there to support the lads and yes the gaffer (come on Meggaz!!!)

everyone out there should have a little patience, and get back out at the Reebok supporting the club you love and hate at times because after all hey thats Football, i have supported the Super Whites now for 23 years, and remember many other times where we have had to battle. I personally relish in these times as it simply brings out the best as Bolton Wanderers are the best in buisness of battling, league,cup,play-off,relegation its all great footballing entertainment.

so once we break the deadlock at home we will be seeing some great football again i cant wait

Your Club Needs You!!

COME ON YOU WHITES, MUNICH WAS SIMPLY FANTASTIC, COME ON MEGGAZ-LET'S SHOW EM ALL

You cant fault any of the fans who travelled to munich missing this one, but this was a game when a 20,000 plus crowd would of without doubt, got us a win.

For those who missed this one because they are, disillusioned with the club ( can't be arsed crew) should not be surprised when the likes of Anelka,Diouf etc leave in January.

And i Guarantee some of these will post on forum's saying BWFC lack commitment and desire......!

The attendance is pathetic

Why didn't all those who go to munich turn up or are they just big occasion players?

When that is the type of performance you get is anyone suprised, i can't remember a shot on target of any note, win and we are out of the bottom 3 play with only 1 up front at home no striker on bench anyone who had the misfortune to pay today to get in deserves a refund, surely one of the worst premiership games ever too be played 2 teams players earning more in 1 week than i get in a year cannot pass the ball 15 yards to a player on there own side, premier league best in world it's a marketing ploy off now to watch some la liga

that's the longest sentence i ever did read

They will all be out in force when we play our next home game I bet. I might start singing with the opposotion fans "you've only come to see united" cos they'd be reet. Shocking turnout today when we need the support. And still we have the leave early brigade.

The 0-0 home draw with 'Boro last year was a worse game, with Anelka or Diouf playing today then I think we would have edged it.

IMO if you went to Munich you should have gone today, you should pay your dues for the big games. I was hoping the result over there would have a dragged a few more in as well :(

hang about i thought BWFC was a business these days ?

which business blames its customers for not buying enough ?

thought we used this 'couldn't' afford it because of munich for west ham though..

this is a home game we NEEDED to win yet most can't afford 30 quid to turn up..

maybe they were saving for belgrade instead..

The Premier league is our bread and butter and is far more important than the UEFA Cup. It was wonderful on Thursday but it all counts for nothing if we get relegated. We need the support for the league games. I don't give a flying shit about piss poor turnouts for the cup games but today and the Villa game were an absolute embarassment. All this enterntainment excuse is bollox because it was hardly edge of the seat stuff with Allardyce but because we were winning we were getting better turnouts.

The fare on offer at the Bok has been crap since the days of Okocha and Youri despite top 8 finishes the entertainment level is poor. Madrid 4 Majorca 3 now that's entertainment. I take my 3 kids to the game, that today was expensive for rubbish

olly..

spot on our kid..

most that ducked today are those moaning about the boards lack of ambition..

Well go and watch the Munichs down the road then eh?

Could never watch the red vermin garrp don't even allow them on the tv. I am just saying that a lot of people think that what's on offer is garbage today was shocking and if the football is rubbish the Bolton public won't watch it simple as. Piss poor product no entertainment = Low gates

no striker on bench

So which striker would you have had on the bench ???

Munich must have been one of the best results in recent times. We follow this up by having an attendance that even Wigan would be embarrassed with. "If" we get relegated we deserve it because of our piss poor attendances - we dont deserve a premier league team

A good deal of truth in that; but equally it has to be remembered that unlike retail, movies, etc, in football the paying customer can also play an active part in the product itself. And our first test of that is the crowd against Aris. Everyone, but everyone, must surely want another away day after Belgrade; now that will become much more likely if we have 20k there rather than 10k and beat the Greeks. I'm not syaing 20k rather than 10 guarantees anything as far as the result goes, but it sure as shite makes it more likely. Many wont be able to make a midweek game like that, but the vast majority can - so speculate to accumulate and there could be another cracking Munich type trip on the cards (even though in my case I'll almost certainly miss it due to work  ).

As good as munich was UEFA cup is a hindrance we could do without time to call it a day and concentrate on the league.

aye, well I should have added the caveat "assuming that by the time they come around we've stabilised our league position". It's true that if we're really going to be up against it league-wise then who knows whether further UEFA games are a blessing or a curse, and if push really came to shove it's got to be league that matters, no question about that.

Munich didn't hinder us today.Without Anelka and Diouf we wouldn't beat Boro no matter how much rest the team had.

I may be in a small minority but the Uefa Cup is bigger than the league to me.I would happily finish 17th and get to the Uefa Cup quarter final, rather than finish 11th but get knocked out in Belgrade.

The Aris game is crucial. If we don't win, it will be put us in a weak position to get through the group. With Liverpool away on the Sunday which we would lose 9 times out of 10 anyway, i would pick the strongest team we have against Aris.

There is a case for resting players in Belgrade when we have a winnable game against Wigan on the Sunday, but if Belgrade is a must win or mustn't lose i would pick the best team.

In 20 years time,if we haven't played in Europe again,i won't be pleased we picked a reserve team in Belgrade because we were saving players for a league game against fookin Wigan!

Todays poor gate was all about the tickets being too expensive. The ground won't be full against United at ?39 yet it was full against Grimsby when adults were allowed in for a fiver. The gates won't improve until the prices are dropped.10,000 empty seats today which would have brought in the club 100 grand if they'd sold them for a tenner each. And they would have been sold at that price.

We will never qualify for Europe ever again if we do not win our bread and butter games like today. The league is a million times more important. No Premier League status means we will be in one financial mess. Crowds will drop, players will leave and we could end up like Forest or Leeds.

i don't think you're right

the ground would still be in horwich and it'd still be cold

but, if i play along

100 grand is the equivalent of 250 season ticket holders sacking it off cos theres no advantage having one

and i'd argue that is the big problem

theres only season ticket holders turning up

when you have one, you'll show up

no season ticket, its sunday, its cowd, nay thanks

It could be minus 40 against the scum in a fortnight but all the JCL's will be there. I am sure a lot who turn up for them games are closet united/liverpool fans etc.
