Widnes Two Hats Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 He was looking for a way out as soon as he felt the time was right. The one thing he did right ... he took as far has he could .. this is ultimately as far he can take Newcastle too ..... what goes around comes around ...... just remember the best chance we had to win a trophy in recent times he blew against 'McClown'. Says it all ...... I don't understand the point? He took us to a cup final and he led us to 3 consecutive top 8 finishes What's wrong with that? In fact, that is f?cking marvellous Would you stay in your job for ?15K per year in a company that is happy raking in ?50K per year or would you take a job that doubles your salary and give you have top facilities where ambitions match yours? Why is nobody giving me a serious challenge to my original comment?
Widnes Two Hats Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 what was it? It's not difficult Sam Allardyce did wonders for this club and to gloat in him current situation is very very f?cking sad He's at an injury ravaged club and the fact that people are abusing his credentials because they lost to a supurb Liverpool side is quite frankly sickening But my original question is WHY are people finding so much joy in Newcastle losing?
Widnes Two Hats Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 What do you do to ex colleagues who join another company Send them letter bombs? Twathooks

Widnes Two Hats Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 (edited) cos its what football fans do? if we'd been top 8 again, i don't reckon feelkings would run so strong, but we're not daft fcuker couldve been england manager for christmas Cas That's the worst response I've ever seen from you and I consider you to be intelligent in the world of football opinions It's cause that's what we do? Give me one bit of logic behind that statement and I'll gladly debate the subject Lemmings allegedly jump of cliffs but anybody with an ounce of intelligence wouldn't follow them Sam Allardyce would never be England manager in my lifestyle, apart from being to tactically naive be didn't have the experience of top level players We won't be top 8 again before I retire and I'll got a fair few years to go yet In years to come, we'll talk about days in Munich, Marseille, Belgrade, etc but I fear it won't be in the forseeable future But, we've experienced it already and there's only one person who is responsible for that Edited November 24, 2007 by Widnes Two Hats
C86 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Widnes you ok? Have you had any beer/chan. Very passionate posts, fair play but after 5 years of off the cuff posts, I'm worried, so is Carol, to many extra chips!!! l
athywhite1958 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Widders. IMO SA got bored at Bolton because there is no ambition from the board and that fat tw@t Garty, we could have gone further? possibly a chumps league place, which we weren't far off anyway, but the way he finishedwith us, come on, 2 f?ckin games left, couldn't he have waited, we stood by him during the bung scandal, he was our hero, that night at Wallsall we were behind him 100%, I know he has given me my best years as a Wanderer, but for f?cks sake he should at least have been truthful, we would have respected that...
Widnes Two Hats Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Crew No chan but plenty of beer :p Despite the fact that I very rarely turn out to watch Bolton. I still feel the same way I did all the Division 4 games as well as 3, 2, 1 We were f?cking appalling for 99% of the time but it was loads of fun The fun has now been taken away so that restricts my games, Uefa being the ones that can't be miss (apart from my own stupidity) But I still watch every game and still feel the same passion about my team The purists will say that non attending is sacrilidge but being treated like a 12 year old is not for me, I have grown too close to my expectances for anything else But, how anybody can say that Fat Sam is anything but a Massiah in the world of Bolton football really f?cks me off Look forward to the extra chips Widnes
Burndens Bogs Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Widnes, i don't think you'll get anyone on here who won't agree that he was the greatest BWFC manager of the modern era, and of course everyone loved the journey we went on with BSA. However, it was the WAY he left that leaves a sour taste - The timing of his departure, with 2 games to go till the end of the season. "I want a complete rest from football" - then being interviewed for the Toon post within 14 days Then trying to employ all our backroom staff at Newcastle, after stating that he wouldn't do that. The fact is, BSA had taken us as far as he could - and once he got overlooked for the England job, his heart just wasn't in the job anymore (as results since the start of 2007 will testify) and it was time for a change, as much for us as it was for him.

Widnes Two Hats Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Athy I have great respect for you and admire (if not envy) your following of Bolton/England But, I don't see the issue He told fatty he was leaving, fatty told him to go then publised it What choice did Allardyce have but to tell the truth? I thought his departure wasn't that bad and I'm certain that if you sat Gartside and Allardyce in a room you'd come out on the side of Allardyce BUT my point is that in 8 years he made us an overachieving club that has entered Europe on two occasions and that is better than watching England play in Slovakia any day of the week
boltonways Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 to be fair, he didn't decide when to go I won't miss Big Sam throwing in towel against the likes of United and Liverpool, despite what people make of his record. I said last year about Sam giving an excuse to his players not to perform against Utd and todays result proved it. Further evidence can be got from what Fat Sam said against Liverpool today. Benitez doesn't like me aw, what a shame didums. It's been obvious for two years that Allardyce wanted out of the club. Now we have a manager that has to make his reputation. Megson can't afford silly comments like Allardyce gave today and against Utd. Bolton back to their best.

I don't think there's anything in your post Bogs that I have a problem with What I do have a problem with is the 'Thank f?ck Sam is losing games and is likely to be sacked' brigade after he did so so much for us We're not f?cking simpletons and all know that football is about success not loyalty, I'm just stuck in the Sam fan club given what he achieved that nobody else could in my lifetime
Burndens Bogs Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I'm just stuck in the Sam fan club given what he achieved that nobody else could in my lifetime I know where you're coming from, but there's something about the manner of his departure that just makes me hope the media slag falls on his arse - big time.

Megson can't afford silly comments like Allardyce gave today and against Utd. Bolton back to their best. I was going to respond to this about 15 mins ago with the start line of 'Are you a f?cking halfwit' but I decided to try and respond in a meaningful manner So I'm absolutely amazed by your assessment of the spankings we received at the hand of the filth and the thieves, this wasn't anything to do with the manager it was due to the far superior footballing players that were facing us on the pitch, for your information, excluding Anelka, were not overly talented, our strength lies with our formation and spirit I once would have been patient with the likes of you but I'm afraid to say that tonight is not one of those times You are a f?ckfit and clearly know nothing about Bolton pre Premier league SSSSSSShhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I wish to hear no more

Burndens Bogs Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Given the chance, would you have BSA back?........... no, thought not. The BSA BWFC love affair was over, time to move on.
Widnes Two Hats Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I won't miss Big Sam throwing in towel against the likes of United and Liverpool Having thought about this then I agree that throwing in long balls when Sami Hyypia was winning all of them was ludicrous but I stick with my original thoughts about you being a halfwit
Widnes Two Hats Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Given the chance, would you have BSA back?........... no, thought not. The BSA BWFC love affair was over, time to move on. Rednapp came back to Portsmouth We've reverted back to the Allardyce formation and it's working Would I have him back Rhetorical I hope otherwise I'd condemn you to the room of Boltonways
Burndens Bogs Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 In my time on here, i don't think i've ever heard Widders mention football, just bestial acts of depravity and numerous perversions Must be getting pretty dry in that Betty Forde joint ::::::::
Widnes Two Hats Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 In my time on here, i don't think i've ever heard Widders mention football, I don't I'm pretty impressed with opinions on here in general BUT, somethings really f?ck me off Not particually things on the field cause that's just football But, clear lack of appreication such as this thread I consider myself to have seen it all therefore will give an opinion occassionally It's just that it;s not very often I disagree so much And I'll tell you another 'I can't go watching Bolton in Belgrade cause I've no holidays left' - You knew we were in Europe over a year ago far before you got your 28/30 days holidays, no excuse' 'I can't afford it' - take out a 0% interest rate card, absolutely no excuse
stevieb Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 someone take that shovel off him, its goin DEEEEP! You have to say your arguments contradict each other now with your "i rarely see the whites" and then your vitriolic attack at people not goin to belgrade. (been wanting to use the word vitriolic for a while) Im not goin cause im skint and i cant get a jam butty on credit let alone another credit card. Judge me as you will, i couldnt give a monkeys As much as i love your goat fettling tales from yesteryear i think the beverages and todays immense result have taken over your senses cock!
Smiffs Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 You could sell your jism or undertake medical experiments for Belgrade money.
exiledwhite2 Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I can't imagine for a minute that Widnes will post sensible posts again, but my two penn'orth anyway - I agree with him When MOTD showed the Newcastle fans having a go at Allardyce I felt sorry for the guy. The Geordies are ars?holes and they'll never have success, they are incapable He is a modern BWFC legend, and the manner of his departure doesn't count for a solitary sh?t in my judgement of him. The only thing that I judge him on is getting us into Europe, to a cup final, and respected throughout the game I can't believe people are so hung up about things that happen all the time (I will take a break from football etc etc etc)...stop being so naive
