me aswell,

and I haven't missed many matches inbetween either. But it's nothing to be proud of, in fact it makes me a sad bastard

+ I would rather not be old enough to have done it because being older means being nearer to being dead.

Me, I got a Hotshot ball with the match details on that they were throwing into the crowd. I think that was the 3-0 game but it could have been the year after, George???

The first Bolton/Manu game I saw was at Old Trafford in a Division 2 league game. We lost 3-0.

I think it is the only season in United's history that they have had outside the top flight.

3-0 and 1-0

Went to OT to see us win 2-1 when Tony Dunne was captain for the day - can't remember if that was the same season or not.

'Twas indeed the same season, it was a famous double over them - April 11th 1979 Worthington scored 2, Martin Buchan replied for the scum. I still have the ticket for the scoreboard end, the price.............?1. ONE POUND - I'm pretty sure my wages haven't gone up forty fold since then <_<

Yes, it was.

So the last time we beat em at home, we went on to complete the double.

Looking forward to OT?!

nay lad, celebrate the fact we've survived them 29 years and had a good few laughs - that's all anyone can ever hope for :good:

Yes

I was there for both matches in 1978/79

I was only TEN at the time

I remember my Dad going Ferkin mental

yeaterday meant more than the last one

i didn't realise what we'd achieved last time

Was at the match in 78, and at OT, but yesterday, went watching Barrow V Southport, in the FA Trophy, cost me six quid to get in, the theiving Barrovian gets!

Ah, memories ...... yep, there yesterday and there both times in '78 (Burnden & OT). Late for both in '78 - two nightmare drives up from London, but what the h*ll.

Had to warn the mate who was with us at OT not to laugh & jump around on the way back to the car; wanted to leave in one piece.

But yesterday was more immense, the way both clubs have gone since '78.

Home and away in 78/79 and yesterday. Wiped the memory of that 6 goal thrashing in 95/96.

For once can't wait for that monday morning walk from Piccadilly station into work.
