The Away Following At Eastlands

our away support in terms of numbers is always poor when we play city not sure why but full credit to the lads in the top tier yesterday about 4-500 in there and made more noise than the rest of the crowd put together, I was in the prawn sandwich section on the halfway line so in a good position to judge it.

I was in the lower tier, the kids in there singing crap songs are an embarrassment.

Arh, leave them alone. I quite like it.

It was nice to see the stewards @ Eastlands have been to the same training school as ours though.

i was in the upper, those young lads were having a right laugh, fair play to em - the new bolton yoof!

I was in the upper as well, was good craic in the second half, bit dull in the first until we scored.

Oh and to the lad singin "money money money, must be funny, in the rich mans world"....

It'll never catch on son!

i was impressed with the stewards yesterday. the woman behind me was moaning i wouldn't sit down. i explained i would be unable to see if i did. when she complained he politely told her to stop moaning and stand up.

I heard there was bottles and lighters being thrown from the city fans in the lower tier

Our stewards were gary nevilles for the 1st half. Then the police were stood at the back so they didnt feel the need to be nobs in the second.

I thought the reebok was cold as well, ragging walked it from town on the way there and nearly died a death goin through ancoats. We went in some seedy shit hole and asked for jagermeister to warm the cockles but they didnt have any and the barman just look confuse so we fucked off.

"the yoof is on fire"

Correct. Not for the first time there either.

I thought the stewards downstairs were nobs to be honest. Spent most of the second half telling us to sit down when City to the left and right were ALL stood up for 90 minutes and they were lobbing all sorts over every time they scored. A full bottle of coke narrowly missed hitting a little lad square in the face after Bianchi scored. Complete sh*thouses.

During the seconf half the AHM elite sat/stood in the empty bit of seats that seperated the fans. Plenty of gesturing and piss taking going on. One poster off here (an Allstar) offerd one of the City idiots outside to discuss things in more detail. The stewards and coppers grabbed this poster and dragged him to the back of the stand. They could have had thrown him out or had him on some sort of public order thing. Anyway, they were actually OK with him and just told him to calm it down. He wouldn't have been treated like that at the Reebok that's for sure.

Whats with not opening the bar before half time and turning the screens of at KO. Anybody would think they wanted you in your seats or summat!

i was in upper tier as well and stewards were right fuckers. Stood up singing when we had a corner and that fat fucker (anybody in upper will probly know him) takes me out and says any more and your out!, then i said we had a ragging corner! then he says cut the attitude! he was a right red ginger who probly got bullied at school, soft fucker.

its not big and its not clever!

I was in the ciddee end behind megson, kept quiet right through but looked suitably pissed off when the 4th went in. A bloke in front (with his 8 year old son - I reckon) gave it the big one & told me to clap the goal - I stared in disbelief. But no, not content with being 4-2 up he was giving it large to some Bolton fan behind him who had said nowt all day.

I left after that but now wish I had forcibly ejected him - unfortunately a customer of mine gave me the tickets.

City - great fans!!!! must say though if you were offered 3 points city or united would still take the filth any day

some bullies should learn not to pick on the vertically-challenged amongst us. Its hard enough for us to see when we're stood up, never mind sat down!

Some mongy Citeh fan was implying I was a c0cksucker!

But technically, was he wrong?

Well, I didn't recall knowing him!

Oh HIS c?ck. Sorry, I thought he meant just that you may have partaken in smoking the pipe of a loved one.

Utter idiots the 'massives'

I too was sat in the City seats and some of the comments from these brain dead junkies was beyond belief.

My failure to applaud any of the 4 City goals but standing to observe the 2 Bolton goals somehow got me spotted

Why did those young lads get thrown out at half time?

I ended up in upper tier due to last minute decision to go. Thought it would be 20-30 sat quietly and no bar service. Was quiet pleased with the craic in the end. (if not the secong half performance). Fookin long cold walk through from ancoats boozers up to c-o-m though.

Yeah that ?stand up for the wanderers? chant is bollocks, your never gonna get everyone to stand up so singing it with half the crowd sat down makes us look stupid. Fair do?s to the lads trying to get people up but your flogging a dead horse with that one! Also, calling the folk who decide to remain seated ?miserable c?nts? aint gonna help either ? they paid their money too.

It fcuking winds me up when they sing "stand up, and support your team" when I was stood on terraces 20 years before they were born. I've climbed more fences than they've been to games. If I now choose to sit down, so be it.

I'm not saying anything about individuals and I certainly don't want to get into the usual debate, but I'm always disappointed with the numbers we take to City - it's so close that we should sell out every time.
