trotter58 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 You might as well give three points to any team that has yet to play Derby.
Carlos Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Are you saying that Sunderland aren't in the shit then?
BWFCOLINH58 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 (edited) derby, fulham, newcastle....... goodbye Edited March 3, 2008 by BWFCOLINH58
HR Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 derby, fulham, newcastle.......goodbye I did the predictor this morning for the first time and got exactly the same with Reading then us. Thats it then, feet up until the end of the season !!!
Zico Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 reckon we've prob got the toughest run in there without at least 9 points at home I think we're on our way down
magic legs Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I went through the games and had Brum & Sund both on 35pts with on 38pts. I gave us the home wins over Citeh, Hammers and Sunderland. Sunderland's next 3 games are Everton H, Chelsea H and Villa A so can see them getting 0pts from that quite easily. Brum's run of Wigan A, Everton H, Villa A and Liverpool H will decide their season.
trotter58 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Bolton are the new favourites to go down along with Fulham and Derby according to Paddy Power.
Horwich Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 The stats show we have the hardest run in. Lets hope we can turn things round.
tylswhite Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I had forgotten how shitty the old relegation battle is Watching every other teams results hoping they lose and praying to god that we somehow pull results out of the hat, from now til the end its gonna be like torture!! Wigans run in looks as tough ours so if we can somehow beat them we will drop them right in the shitt while gettin ourselves out of it a bit at the same time. heres hoping......

Next weekend is going to be fun. No game for us and any unexpected results for our rivals and we are well and truly in the shite.
magic legs Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Fulham and Bolton are now favourites to be relegated with William Hill Bolton are 3rd favourites after Derby and Fulham with all the firms now. Sunderland at 9/2 with VC does look a better bet than 5/2 on us.

It always seems like we play better against bigger clubs. (Rose tinted and all that).
trotter58 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I just hope that we can get fired up against the big clubs. It always seems like we play better against bigger clubs. (Rose tinted and all that). Doesn't really matter who teams play at the end of the season. Teams at the bottom (with the exception of Derby) can be just as difficult to get results against as those at the top.
YATESY Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Those homes games will decide things. If we fail to beat Sunderland at home then it is turn the lights out time.
Guest Boothy Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Those homes games will decide things. If we fail to beat Sunderland at home then it is turn the lights out time. i think its fair to assume we all will think like that. Only way of any sort of result at chelsea is if they are in the Fa Cup Final and possibly CL final as well as out of title race!!

That happened a few years ago and apart from Chelsea scoring an own goal, they couldn't have tried harder to let us win the game. We all know what happened though!! p.s. The Times has Newcastle getting 34 points and going down, surely they can't be wrong?

Citea West Ham Sunderland All winnable but we wont get maximum points there Makes Wigan away a must win game or we are down
jolly-olly Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Everyone is assuming Fulham are certs to go down. They have the easiest run in and could catch up if you ask me.

Spider Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Any minute now someone's going to start getting dewy eyed and talking about the good ols days when we were pushing for Europe and sticking it to the big boys. Or did 2 years of incessant whining about how we should have been pushing for 4th by 80% of the people on here never happen? Wigan is an absolute must win. And that worries me I must admit. However, I'll take a shitty 1-0 with an own goal off Heskeys huge ass in the 99th minute please.

Cheered the rafters off when the deliverance cast scored at Newcastle in the 90th minute. Then cried when Reading did likewise a few miles south!
