Guest The Special One Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Gartside you are a GRADE A C?nt and a wimp Storming off saying "I don't need to listen to this" because fans were asking why Anelka was sold or why you brought a second rate team over after we pay good money to support the team AND whilst I'm on about you, why did your club advise fans not to go to the docks area for safety reasons, yet that is where you turned up to eat and drink?????????????????/
Guest The Special One Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Is that where the brasses were? only Bolton ones, not worth a wank mate
Carlos Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 (edited) I turned away when that woman spoke to me almost immediately, I think Garty did well to last as long as he did. But the question remains, what was Garty doing down the docks anyway? Edited March 15, 2008 by Carlos
Smiffs Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 And for those of us stuck at home doing the wife's ironing, full transcript please.................

Basically got asked questions 'why did we sell anelka etc'. He can answer questions without actually answering them.

Mounts Kipper Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 We are nearing judgement day, a win today and we go 13th and onto the 2 manchester derbys with a bit of breathing space, time for the so called first team to stand up and be counted, we need a response, similar to the reading first team over the last fortnight, our get out of jail cards are rapidly running out I expect nothing other than a win today, hope I am right.
HomerJay Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Shit or bust! nah, as long as there is at least one team within 3 points of us, we still have a chance. today is not the be all and end all, although a win would be massive. on a confidence level if nothing else.

Arsenal couldn't win there and to be honest I would be happy with a draw Win would be massive Cant go today because I am due in London early evening - neavous as hell Come on whites
Danny G Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Today is a massive game, I bet we still end up playing 451 though, i really cannot understand why we play that formotion when we are far more comfortable 442
Whites man Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I didnt understand that either. Basically got asked questions 'why did we sell anelka etc'. When Anelka wants to move he does, it's not up to the club. Only happened about ten times now
HazzyinBolton Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I think the crunch games for us are City, WHU & Sunderland at home. Win 2/3 of those & we'll be fine. A draw today would be OK.

Carlos Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I'm just wondering, was there an acceptable answer to someone shouting "WHY DID YOU SELL ANELKA?" at Garty? I don't think it's even a question.

R U trying to say that 6 points will be enough? We need 12 as a minimum and that might not be enough - history tells us that the teams at the bottom start to win now
Guest westmidswhite Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Punters on here have no concept of reality. Reality will be no facker bothering about cup competitions - nothing to look forward to and eventually we will all wonder why we go = dringling crowds and loss of the club and some of us love. Its not the division you are in; its what gets us looking forward to going
HazzyinBolton Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I don't think we'll need 40 points - I honestly can't see Sunderland or Newcastle getting past 35 points. Maybe we need 3 wins & a draw, but I bet that will be enough to keep us up. I can see Newcastle beating Fulham, but that's about it for them as far as victories are concerned.

Newcastle are not that bad and will win at least 3 - mark my words Sunderland will get another 10 points Reading have a lot of winable games and should be safe Think Fulham are doomed with Derby - Birmingham Wigan or Us for me for the 3rd place
no balls Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Whites Man I have seen a few of your comments and you are either representing the club or a complete bleeding idiot who will accept anything they do So what do we all do? If we vote with our feet then we lose the club we love. Oh, that'll show us. I do not understand what it is you want folk to do. Personally, I don't have 100k going spare (which'll nearly pay Lampard just for this week, excluding a win bonus.) I said on another thread, and I'll say it again: It is the game which is rotten, our club are merely a small part of this by the nature of being in the Premier League. We all wanted success, so maybe we should've been careful what we wished for.

Dont think you get the point - why bother entering competitions if we are not going to compete and the priorities are wrong Agree the game is rotten by agents and players getting too much. Ask Barnsley fans if they are happy - definately yes and they are near the bottom of the championship

Ask Barnsley fans if they are happy - definately yes and they are near the bottom of the championship But ask them if they're swap that few weeks of great fun (and yes, I remember how incredible the feeling was in that cup run we had many years ago, I'd never swap that for the world) for Premier League status. It still seems to be the holy grail. Personally, if we go down, I'll still be there doing the same thing but against different teams and at different grounds. My fear is though, many won't and then eventually we'll not have a club.
