:good: the one and only

'tis true. Bennetts Lane Chippy has been the chippy of choice for a good few years. Chae's is often a good meal and good value alo. (That'd be the Harwood Chae's, not your copy-cat chinkies down Tonge Moor!)

i prefer the TM one

Apparently Paul Moulden's is meant to be the feckin' bees knees on Bury Road.

Or so my step-dad and ma reckon.

Tasty Fry in Callander is my vote, helluva drive from Bolton though

Sue! Scout Road Chippy is between me and you secret.gif

Anybody know a good 'un near Four Lane Ends?

Tried the new one at the top of Hulton Lane last week and wasn't too keen. Sou's on Wigan Road is good but as already said, pretty expensive.

If that's the one 500 yards nearer to town than t'Black Horse then your step dad and ma are right. S'feckin shark down here. Not the same.

Pretty sure that the one down Tonge Moor is (or was) his parents and young Steven has the Harwood branch?

The old Gratia on the way upto Tottington is the favourite these days - Totty will know the one.

Rigby's on deane church lane is very good trouble is its only open for lunch & dinner. If your in the area its worth a punt. The special mix of small fish, small chips, peas & gravy is half the price of standard fish & chips.
