A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death on a night out in Bolton.

The incident happened at 12.50am at the Pepper Alley pub in Crown Street.

Paramedics called police to the scene after reports that a man had been stabbed.

Officers attended and found a man in his 30s with two stab wounds, caused by a knife.

The man was taken to hospital but later died.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

It is the third stabbing in Bolton in less than 48 hours.

It's media hype innit? Nothing much has changed, just they've started reporting what's actually happening out there?

 

It's not happened and the Government is 100% to blame. The wishy-washy liberals that send young offenders on holidays or give them 3 hours of the joke that is community service for putting someone in hospital.

I don't disagree with that. I went shopping in Chorley yesterday (Booths, I recommend folk to do a shop there, it's full of local produce) and it really was a breath of fresh air. They might be backward BUT the town centre doesn't seem half as rough as Bolton. I have to ask though, why is that so?

Jumbles and Crompton Lodges are nice places to go for a walk.

As is starting off at the Crofters, have a pint. Walking up Bradshaw Road, Right at the India Gate, keep Right into Watling street, pint in Pack Horse, continue journey by turning right into Tottington Road, pint in Grey Mare, pint in 7 stars, pint in No Name, pint in Conny Club, pint in school House, pint in Crofters. Beltin'!

 

8 pints and last 6 of them are within the final 3/4 mile from finish.

Bolton is a good place to live if you can afford 300k plus to buy a nice house in a nice area.People in 4 bed semis and detached homes round Markland Hill for example won't think they live in a shithole.

Sometimes when I go to Bolton, I think i'm glad I live in Wigan. (but not often).

I was out on the ale in Bolton last night. Thank god I was not anywhere near the incident. They have got to start cracking down more and send people down for at least 5 years just for carrying a knife. Any use of a knife whether murder or not should carry a mandatory life sentence.

I agree, this is a waste of time, if anyone knows the results of knife crime, its the person whos just stabbed someone as he was there to see it, so no need to go and look at someone else.

I think its wrong to go off topic and call Bolton a shite hole because of these stabbings.

The worrying thing is that people are on night outs carrying knives and are willing to use them.

Where are they getting these knives - guessing they're not kitchen ones?
